All Things Come To A....Finale
That's right no matter how much we would like to keep the bus rolling the journey at some point comes to an end. My Where Your Heart Belongs Series opened a major door for me one that terrified me for so long but now the f ear has been faced. I'm excited, exhausted, overjoyed, and a little sad to see the series close but I'm empowered to open many more chapters.

Rounding Up My Thoughts
..Bringing 2015 to a close. What a year it has been rewind a little time and I was still sitting on my haunches trying to talk myself into letting other people read the things I had written. Taking my time and understanding the process. In this world of instant gratitude it's hard not to just want you results instantly but I've learned a lot of patience with this as well. So now I'm ending 2015 and headed toward 2016 with my head held extremely high. I see the simple joy in sitting in front of my screen or pressing pen to pad getting out all my new thoughts and ideas. 2016 has already shaped it self up pretty good in my book ;)

What's In the Hamper....Sunday Sneak Peak
The series is almost complete. (Where Your Heart Belongs)...The finale will complete the journey for these hearts.
Here is a Small Sneak Peek into the finale..(My Life Your Entertainment)
When I stepped out of the bathroom she was back and sitting on the bed with her legs dangling over the edge successfully putting my manhood on notice. The look in her face said nothing other than concur. A few times before when she became determined to have me get her seats courtside or entry into the club box, or I just had to go to some party with her she had that same look on her face. But a calm came over me no matter what she had to say there was no changing I was done and not looking back. It was time I started cleaning up my personal life starting with her being removed from it.
‘Where you even going to call me and tell me you had gotten in?’
‘You didn’t need that information…you already made plans…plans completely different from what we discussed.’
‘That’s because we seriously need to talk face to face…this could not wait.’
I could feel her eyes following me around the room as I dressed in a pair of the track pants I had just been given at one of the fittings, by the time I pulled a shirt over my head she was standing in front of me. There was no denying she was physically what just about any red blooded male would love to roll around a few times every night with. She had beautiful skin that melted down to her toes and her natural chestnut hair that she always wore straighten was full and thick. She keep her body in extremely good condition mostly because of her occupation but it showed from head to toe and she took major pride in that. When she wasn’t scowling about something her dark brown eyes were actually beautiful and bright but at the moment they were scowling most likely plotting her next move. Her beauty took me by surprise in the beginning she reminded me so much of women back home and the free energy around them, but how she used it to manipulate things in her life changed how she looked completely before I could form any type of true feelings for her.
‘So have you gotten her out of your system and come to your senses…didn’t you miss me baby?’
She walked over to me and slid her hand down inside my pants gripping me in her fist and started light tender strokes up and down me. She stood up on her tip toes and placed kisses long my neck, she had mastered this game of getting what she wanted and starting with the physical always worked. We had spent enough time together for her to know exactly how to get me to lose focus. I lost just about all my focus for a few moments the exact way she knew I would. So this was her first move was the first thought that came to mind for me. Somehow I found the strength to pull her hand away from me and slid completely out of reach. She was an expert at getting me off whatever was pressing and making me think with the wrong head, but I had a determination this time she wanted something and I did to I wanted her gone.
‘Got who out of my system Kemi?’
‘Whoever it is on that island of yours that you didn’t want me to know about.’
‘There is nobody in my system I am a single man and staying that way.’
‘You know you don’t mean that we are good for each other Sed…you know we make a great couple everyone thinks so.’
‘And who is everyone because I don’t ever recall anyone telling me that.’
‘Sedric….look I understand things have been different lately but I just took that as you were focused on the playoffs so I just stayed out of the way really…but we can get things back on track now.’
‘What do we need to talk about…or what is it we can’t do over the phone because nothing you’re saying couldn’t have been said over the phone Kemi.’
‘How about we go get something to eat and talk more…I’m hungry we can go to Allen’s and have a nice dinner and talk.’
The patience had officially left every single part of my being partly because I was exhausted and wanted to sleep I had to get to whatever her point was.
‘NO!...either you tell me whatever this is now and get it over with or you get your stuff and tell me when I get back to Chicago…your choice.’
‘So you’re kicking me out?’
‘If you want me to I will pay for another suite for you but we are not staying together….so.’ I folded my arms across his chest and waited the annoyance hopefully shinning across my face as I did it.
‘How can you be so cold to me…I’ve been good to you this is completely unfair you are not even willing to try…but fine Sedric.’ I watched her mood change from her sweet seductress act to her angry jungle cat mode; she squared her shoulders like she was preparing to pounce. ‘I wanted to talk to you face to face because I’m pregnant.’
‘WHAT!?’ It was like a dagger had been launched through my lungs because just about all the air when out of them.
‘You heard me I’m pregnant….so why don’t we go get something to eat and talk I know we can work this out for the baby.’
‘We can work what out….for whose baby…Kemi I haven’t touched you in three months I know that for a fact.’
‘What are you trying to say this is your baby Sedric so you might as well get use to it.’
In that moment my temper flared to its top level. How could she stand in front of me and lie so smoothly. Was the money worth that much to her that she could tell a lie and hold on to it so adamantly? This was exactly the thing my mother warned me would happen when I finally made it into the league. She warned me over and over to prepare for the dangers that came not from injuries but those that came from women believing they were owed something. If she was pregnant there was no way she was pregnant by me. I quickly thought back to the last time we had been with each other remembering I had specifically used a condom that was fully intact when I flushed it.
‘How far are you?’
‘I’m still in the first trimester Sedric clearly.’
‘But how far?’
‘I’m about eleven or twelve weeks…why?’
I moved in close to her so she could feel the heat coming off my body when I spoke, in hopes she would come to her senses and let the lie go. She shrunk back some so I had hopes that I would get through to her.
‘Because I haven’t touched you in three months…and before that I know I didn’t do anything that would have gotten you pregnant…so who are you pregnant by?’ I said the words calm keeping my voice even but firm making sure she understood he didn’t believe for one minute that I had gotten her pregnant.
‘Who the hell do you think you are accusing me of something like that…shit happens Sedric clearly you slipped….unlike what you seem to believe you are not perfect and shit happens so get over it and lets move forward.’ There was just enough fear in her eyes that he knew she wasn’t secure in what she was saying and hoping I wouldn’t put up a lot of fight.
‘So if you’re this far along you sure don’t look it and what took you so long to tell me about it?’
‘I didn’t know Sedric I just found out a week or two ago and some people just don’t start showing early like that…then just in case you don’t remember you left and went away without telling me.’
‘Fine…we will deal with this the way it’s supposed to be done. I will cover your medical and come to the doctor then when the baby comes we will get the test done to know if it’s mine. I would never step away from my responsibilities but I’m sure that’s what you were counting on anyway right?’ I put my hand under her chin and stared her directly in the eyes as I finished. ‘But I promise you I will not take care of anybody else responsibilities…get your bags we need to get you a room to stay in.’
‘Are you serious…why can’t I just stay here with you?’
‘Because you might be magically pregnant now Kemi… but this little news of your changes nothing other than we may have to work out some arrangements if I am the father of that kid.’
The tugging of my heart was more than real and it was taking my entire being to hold it together when all I wanted to do was ball up in a knot. There was no prep for this it changed everything I had planned out in my head every step I was headed up changed approach and direction with this news and nothing about it was good.
‘So you are really going to send me and your child off to another room alone and you are right here?’ She planted her hands on her hips that she had spread apart and a defiant stance and waited almost daring him to say yes.
‘You know what…no stay here we don’t need to get you another room this one will take care of all your needs.’ Her smile was so smug and satisfied I took a little pleasure in wiping it off with my last statement before I left the room. ‘I will go I need to clear my head the room is taken care of till the end of the week so enjoy New York call me when you go to the doctor next I want to come.’ Before she could protest find another way to talk me into staying I walked over to the closet grabbed my bags and headed back out the door. I wasn’t about to play house with her no doubt it was exactly what she was expecting to happen next but that was the farthest thing from my mind. A million different things went through my mind then I knew for sure something was fishy about her claim and needed time to figure it out.

The Impressions...
Oh how happy I am sitting at my computer prepping my files for upload for release day. The first time I think I was just as nervous as the first day of school . Then just as excited as the last day when the files where ready for review. So now that we are headed to book 4 I find it has left an amazing impression on me how that process still holds the same excitement and joy as it did the first go around. I am praying it stays just the same for the future. Which shouldn't be to hard since I cant seem to stop myself from starting new stories and new ideas. So now we head to the interlude of Where Your Heart Belongs. I'm truly excited for everyone to catch up with the characters from the first three books and get ready for the series finale. The Workings of My Mind....
It's a stretch I know but so many thing go on in the real world that we need the "OMG" that can't be real moments that make us smile. Once when i was at an amusement park with friends (that I shall not mention) I was talked into getting on a ride that struck fear in my from the second i saw the thing. Then once I had been officially talked into getting on the ride I somehow slip and almost fall out of the thing when it made one of its turns. Needless to say that was seven years ago and i haven't been to an amusement park since. All of that being said I still love adventure I personally think adventure makes us who we are. When we embrace the unknown with true faith it's a wonderful thing. So now I enter the unknown walking down the road of something new or different writing over the past year has been my adventure. Honestly when I started the entire process thinking it was way too easily accomplished, boy was I wrong. The first time I hit writer's block it was something foreign to me since it had been beyond easy for me to get all my stories out and with little to no time in between them. So I have had a roller-coaster of emotion wondering why things changed and then come and go so fast but no matter it's an adventure that I am enjoying every minute whether it be an actual roller-coaster, or the ups and downs of writers block.

Covering the Covers...whats your thoughts???
I never thought it would be so much turmoil in trying to decided on the cover of one of my books. I have so much fun creating them and doing my best to draw in the eye to them. I could honestly spend days doing that (new career??). So now I am ready to release book 3 of my Where Your Heart Belongs Series and its come down to trying to figure out Which cover i will go with.....So what do you think of the two?
