Some of my favorite Audiobooks from my favorite Narrator!
Sorry I've been quiet. I'm knee-deep in revisions for An Impractical Guide to Satyr Charming. Luckily I love doing revisions (yeah, I'm THAT weirdo)
And I have some amazing audiobooks to keep me company while my butt is glued to this chair.
I've been on a Michael Ferraiuolo kick, lately. I'm a bit biased because he also narrates my books too but trust me when I say this guy is amazing with any book he narrates. A complete auto-buy for me. Here are a few of my latest favorites.
Hitman vs Hitman by Cari Z and L.A. Witt
If you're looking for some great laughs, amazing snark, and steamy chemistry between two sexy hitmen, check this one out! I laughed out loud so many times my husband looked at me weirdly. Michael's comic timing is pure perfection in this one!
Bond by Piper Scott and Virgina Kelly
I love the Forbidden Desires series but this one is my absolute favorite of them all. The total peak of my favorite trope, the storm cloud falls for the sunshine.
Michael's voice work on this one is wonderful as he goes through a range of characters. Also, it's hilarious.
Buttons and Grace by Penelope Sky
I'm not a huge reader of dark romance and the Buttons series is as dark as I can get (this one is pretty dark too). The last three books in this series Buttons and Shame, Buttons and Blame, and Buttons and Grace are my favorites and beautifully narrated by Michael and Samantha Cook. The chemistry between the MCs is unbeatable and both narrators deliver the emotion in buckets. A great series if you need some deep feelz!

An Impractical Guide to Satyr Charming **SNEAK PEEK!**
As promised! Here's an extended excerpt from my upcoming book, An Impractical Guide to Satyr Charming.
Enjoy!
*****
Ivy groaned, her teeth clenching hard enough to crack.
Crap, was that a damn pan flute?
Another squeal, one that sent needles right into her eardrums.
Yup. It was a pan flute.
And judging by the piercing melody he kept botching, Finn had no idea how to play one.
Ivy bristled. “Right on time,” she grumbled, tucking her blankets back into place.
And to think she was feeling horny for him only a few seconds ago. This concert was what she deserved for being suckered in by his pretty face and sad eyes.
“Asshole!” she shouted at the door, her head pounding with each clomp-clomp-clomp of Finn’s parade.
There was a sharp bang. The door bowed and Ivy almost leaped out of her skin, expecting an aggressive break-in. But the shrill high-pitched crooning resumed, moving back and forth outside her door. Ivy looked to the heavens for help. None came, which didn’t surprise her. She grabbed her robe from the foot of her bed, tossing it on before knotting her long hair on top of her head.
“Well, might as well get this confrontation over with,” she muttered.
Finn skipped up and down the hall like some nightmarish version of Fantasia, his horns and hooves outlined in moonlight. Spittle flew from his lips as he blew over his flute, his eyes squished tight in concentration.
Skip skip, tweet! Skip skip, toot toot!
“Really?” Ivy asked as he did a loop around her. “You’re really doing this?”
He paused in mid frolic to sweep a low bow. “Practicing one’s craft is never a waste.”
“I have earplugs!” she shouted.
“Then my musical escapades shouldn’t be an issue,” Finn replied.
Skip skip tweet tootie toot toot toot!
Ivy pinched her forehead as it started to throb. “I’m serious! This is a waste of time!”
"So why the complaints?”
He puffed out a particularly sour note right in her face. Strands of her hair blew back from the force of his breath
Ivy stomped back to her room, retrieving her earplugs from her nightstand. She returned, blocking Finn’s path to make a show of putting them in.
“See? Earplugs! I can’t hear you! You can’t bother me now!”
He smiled, the brush of his tail flicking her chin as he passed. Ivy swatted it, sputtering as the bristles tickled her lips. Whatever angst he was experiencing earlier was gone, replaced with an arrogant grin and shrieking flute.
“I told you, this was war,” Finn sang, his voice muffled by the orange foam expanding in her ears.
“I didn’t want this war!”
“You should have thought of that before you decided to stay, witching!”
Her face itched, sleep clinging to her eyelids despite the insistent tooting tearing through her earplugs. Another sleepless night. Three in a row now thanks to this bastard.
Skip skip, toot toot, squeeeeeal!
“I’m not leaving!” she screeched. “Spite is my motivator! Spite puts me in motion! I eat spite for breakfast!”
Enjoy!

On a Scifi Romance Tear!
And I blame my friend Stacy for every book I've been devouring.
Since things have been so dang crazy, I've been really into fun over the top romances lately. Paranormal is usually my poison but Stacy has been urging me to read some Scifi romance. Holy cow, it's just the flavor I'm looking for.
Here are a few I highly recommend:
Snowed In With The Alien Warlord (Warlord Brides Index, #1; Snowed In With..., #1) by Nancey Cummings
Cute, sexy, lots of action, and some extra tension is thrown in with a broken translator. Penny is a resourceful book worm and Kol is a gentle giant that will rip your lungs out of your mess with Penny. Some hilarious moments with communicating without words a toxin that makes you randy really sold it for me.
Silent Lucidity (The Infinite City, #1) by Tiffany Roberts
I put the first one here but the whole dang series is wonderful. Each hero and heroine stand out on their own with their own set of problems and their own ghosts to chase. I love the world-building, the Infinite City itself becoming its own character as the stories roll on. Plus there is the smooth Arcanthus and the snarky Drakaal, my bro-T-P who both get their own books. A very high recommendation!
Blind Fall (Stolen by an Alien, #5) by Amanda Milo
It's part 5 of the Stolen by an Alien series but it stands alone on its own. This is actually where I started the series and I never got lost. If you're looking for warm fuzzies in book form, this is it. It's an almost slice-of-life sci-fi style with Breslin, the sweetest guy in the universe, and Sanna who is smart, strong, and loveable. And you can't forget her adorable seeing eye dog, Kota. This book will give you happy feelings the entire time!
Any fun Sci-Fi romance to recommend? Let me know in the comments!

Have a Little Fun with a Sexy Satyr.
I'm at the halfway point. WOO! And I'm super excited to share Finn and Ivy's crazy story with you all.

An Impractical Guide to Satyr Charming is the story in what I'm currently calling the Magical Husbandry trilogy. It has all the snark, humor, and heart of the Wyrd Love series but with a cozier feel and a more intimate setting.
Once cottage witch, Ivy Bennet breathes life into her abandoned family home, she can restore the magic that was stolen from her. Unfortunately, the house's current resident -an arrogant satyr named Finn- will not suffer a witch in his territory, especially after an evil coven destroyed his herd. Without her magic, Ivy is doomed to death but she's not leaving without a fight. And Finn won't allow a stubborn witchling to drive him away. Sparks fly and soon battles turn to desire. Will they continue to deny what has bloomed between them? And what of the mysterious dark entity that lurks in the woods beyond?
Stay tuned. I'll be posting a sneak preview very soon.
Be sure to add An Impractical Guide... to your Want to Reads list. It will be coming out this Spring! :)
