New Showtime Special!

Hey There,

Thanks for checking in to see what's up.  We recently wrapped the 7th season of Weeds.  What a great time working with all those fun, talented, stoned folks.  I am now back, out on the road, touring with my new stand-up act.  Check my 'tour dates' section of this website to see if I will be in your neck of the woods.  This tour will culminate on Feb. 17, 2012 when I tape my second, one-hour special at The Comedy Works in Greenwood Village, Colorado.  (Tickets are available at Comedyworks.com) I am currently calling this special "Face and Crotch" because I think it sounds edgy, sexy and dangerous…and, well, also I use those two words together in my act.

I am really enjoying my time on stage and experiencing awesome crowds.  According to a comedy club owner I met recently, each comic attracts a certain audience. The blue-collar comics tend to attract a beer drinking crowd, deadbeats and white trash.  The urban comics typically attract a Hennessey drinking, loud, heckling audience.  He said that my audience was typically more of a wine drinking, thinking man's crowd.  They are sophisticated, progressive, problem-solvers and could be future presidents.  Will you be coming to my show?

Summer 2011

Hey there!

We are blowing through Season 7 taping of Weeds which will premiere on June 27, 2011.  There are some really great guest stars on the show this season including Aidan Quinn, Martin Short and Bruce Nozick. I really have no idea where the writers come up with their ideas but I am certainly enjoying the ride and am excited to see how they end this season.  There is a rumor there will be an eighth season but we'll see.

I have just agreed to shoot another one hour stand up special late this year, probably around the end of November.  I will keep you updated.  My touring schedule is pretty full already and if you want to know if I will be performing near you just check my tour dates on my website here.

Weeds – 7th Season!

Hey there!

Thanks for checking into my website.  I don't know if you've had the chance to come to one of my stand up dates but I've been working a ton out there.  My stand up dates are listed here on my website but be sure to confirm with the club before hand to make sure the date hasn't changed.  I'm mostly playing in comedy clubs with the exception of a few corporate gigs and casinos here and there.  I am hoping to generate enough new material for another special this fall. My current stand up special,'Now Hear Me Out…', which has been airing on Showtime, is now available on DVD. Pretty sure you can get it from iTunes or Amazon.com.

On another note, we begin taping the seventh season of Weeds May 4th.  It will begin airing on Showtime, June 27th.  How lucky I am to be on a show that has lasted this long!  I met with the writers recently and they told me what they have up their sleeves for Nancy and the rest of us and…oh, boy!  Hold onto your hats.
