New Dates and Movie!

Hi,

Lots of news this month.  I will be shooting a movie in South Africa with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore called, ‘Blended.’  I’ve never been there and am very excited.   Not to mention the fun that I always have with the Happy Madison family!   Unfortunately, because of the timing of this film, I will be rescheduling my stand up dates from June.  Please check my schedule here for any changes.

I’ve also added quite a few dates as well.  Dana Carvey, Dennis Miller and I will be performing at various locations this year.   This should be a lot of fun.  Please check my tour dates for those.   I haven’t worked with both of them on the stand up circuit since we did our SNL Tour back in 1987.   Really looking forward to this!

Stand up, Stand up, Stand up

Hi,

Hope you are able to catch my stand up in your neck of the woods soon.  Looking at my  touring calendar it appears that I will be very busy traveling this year.   I will be working on new material and hopefully running into you.  It won’t be the same not having Weeds to go back to this April but I am confident other opportunities will present themselves.    I am currently developing a single camera / half hour comedy pilot with Susan Yeagley and could not be more excited.  All I can tell you is that its a funny idea and am hopeful that you will one day soon be setting your DVR to record it.

I hope you all have a happy and safe holiday season.  Watch the intersections and look both ways!!  I am excited about the new year.  As you will see in my Tour Dates section I have a ton of gigs in 2013.  Hope you can catch one of them if I’m in your neck of the woods.  I will be working on new material for my next special (Date TBD) and also squeezing any residual laughs out of my old, classic material. (smiley face right here).  I love doing stand up and hope to do it forever…or at least until I’m no more.  (Date TBD).   You can also see me recurring on The Ellen Show where I will continue to appear in various field pieces.  That has been a lot of fun for me.

Happy Summer

Hi,

Well, we are in the middle of filming the 8th and what will probably be the last season of Weeds.  What a great time I had.  A lot of people ask how I will feel about it ending and I tell them…’it was a lot of pot.’ (actually honey rose herb).   I am enjoying our final season and look forward to it’s premiere July 15th.     I have also been staying busy appearing on various talk shows, most recently; The Ellen Show,  Reel Time with Bill Maher and even a visit for the premiere of The Bethenny Frankel Show.   I’m excited about my second Showtime special which will be airing the first week of August.  It is called, “Whelmed, But Not Overly.” I taped it just outside of Denver, Co. and the audience could not have been better!   You may have noticed that I also updated my tour schedule for this fall with lots of locations all over the country so hopefully I will be in your neck of the woods soon.  Unfortunately, the pilot I shot with Marcia Gay Harden, titled ‘Isabel’, was not picked up by NBC.  There is always that outside chance that they will retool it and air it later in the season but that’s a long shot.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for checking in to my website.   I begin filming the eighth season of Weeds in early May 2012 and it will probably begin airing sometime in July.  A lot of people have been asking if this will be the final season and no one knows for sure at this point.  Either way it should be an unbelievable year!  Some other good news, I recently taped the pilot episode of ISABEL for NBC.  It is a half hour, single camera comedy staring Marcia Gay Harden, myself and….oh, just go to this website for more details.

I am very excited about my next Showtime Comedy Special that I just taped this past February at The Comedy Works in Greenwood Village, CO.  New Wave Productions did a great job taping and producing it and I can't wait for you to see it.  I'm also proud of the cold opening which we shot recently at the Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Ca.

My apologies to The Helium Club in Portland, Oregon and Hilarities in Cleveland, OH for having to reschedule my appearances there due to my taping of Isabel.  I am currently rescheduled to be in Cleveland March 23-24 at Hilarities and will soon have a new date for The Helium Club in Portland, Or.  So sorry for any inconvenience.

The last bit of news…I will be at The Comedy Works in Greenwood Village, CO. Feb. 17th taping my second one hour Stand Up Special for Showtime.  Hope you guys can make it. (But then again, I hope I can make it, too!)

Haven't been working on the road this much since I was a neubie in the business.  I will be shooting my next Showtime Stand Up Special at The Comedy Works in Greenwood Village, CO.  Feb. 17th.  Hope you guys can make it.

Also, if you had your pictures taken with me and can't find them on my website….do not fret.  They will be up soon.  We are just working out a few kinks and before you know it….presto ( or is it pesto?) ,  you'll have them.
