My Intrepid Readers

I can't use this as a station ident image, for reasons that will become clear when you read the related post, but this is an example of the sort of mail I'm getting today.

Station Idents: A Call For Images

As regular readers know, I tend to start the day's broadcasting by posting a "station ident," which is a photo or other image and the words "this is warren ellis dot com."

I have decided that I need to draw on a wider pool of images for a while. Perhaps you'd like to provide me one.

Something arty, something filthy, something strange, something funny: don't care, so long as it's original to you. Snapshot or illustration, Photoshop or fansign; don't care, so long as it has the following words...

WIRED UK: Column 15

In which my future self reports back from the year 2050. Note: someone's changed a lot of the paragraph breaks, but it still makes some sense. Well, as much sense as it ever does.

Last Of The Midnight Screamers: A Pitch by Lee Barnett Bleeding Cool Comic Book News and Rumors
"LoMS has a strange history ? it was originally an idea of mine that I pitched to Marvel in the long ago (2004!) days of EPIC when they were going to do creator owned material. As you?ll recall, that fell apart and although LoMS never happened, there were some books that were solicited and sold as four issue minis? but were then cancelled. At the time, the first issue of LoMS was scripted and I had...

Twitter: A Sponge For Mental Pus

For a while, I had a capture of my twitter feed running here. It ended up doing something weird to my API calls, stopping me from running my desktop client, so I killed it. Which is probably just as well, as I talk a lot of shit on Twitter. It's basically mental slurry, the wet lumpy bits from a day spent at the keyboard vented off into a trap so the buildup doesn't blow some crucial valve in my head.
