Prince charming

images“The prince is never going to come. Everyone knows that; and maybe sleeping beauty’s dead.” (Anne Rice)

You have all the rights to continue to believe that the ideal partner, a most beautiful, loving, sensitive and talented being, will finally find you and become aware of your beauty and talents.

The problem is that the majority of beautiful, loving, sensitive and talented beings are also waiting for someone to find them. Hence everybody keeps waiting and nothing happens. Then in the end you wait for all your life or out of despair you surrender to the first bold type that comes by even if you hate them.

If for long you have waited for someone who can appreciate your beauty, qualities and talents, this can be most frustrating, sure. But this is nothing compared to the frustration of all the people who are waiting for you!

Be ruthless with your fantasies, look around and get a move on! Behave with others in the same way you wish they behave with you. If you would like to be appreciated and acknowledged for your beauty and talents, start by appreciating and acknowledging the beauty and talents of those you meet in your life. Take the initiative, tell them what you like in them.

In this way you can avoid excruciating long waits, and deaths, because you can also die out of waiting.

Success and failure in love

In love there is no success and failure. Love is not a performance or a competition, where you have to make a good impression or get a good score.

Love is something you experience in the depth of your being, which nobody can discount or judge.

The only success or failure in love, if you really want to use these terms, is about being or not being able to acknowledge the love that is there regardless of what you believe to be your success or failure in love.

Nature and mankind

Strictly speaking what is the basic radical difference between nature and mankind?

Nature is naked, it exposes its nude body at all times, without hiding or causing embarassment and offense.

Mankind is dressed and hides behind clothes, and is embarassed and offended by their own nudity.

Unless we come to terms with this radical difference, we will continue to harm nature, we will always be against nature, because we are against our nature.

What you are afraid of

What you are afraid of is also what you feel safe with, what you hate is also what you love, what you dislike is also what you like.

How do you come out of this?

You don’t come out. You come in.

Waking up

Every day, upon waking up, I exit from a world and enter into another world, just as when I fall asleep I do the same.  Every time they are different worlds and in these worlds I always meet new people and situations, although they may look familiar, even apparently the same I found in worlds I was before. There are infinite parallel worlds.

Today is a new day. You wake up after travelling to places you have probably already forgotten. This morning you may find yourself in a familiar place. Yet beware, it is not the same place. The people and situations you meet today are not the same as yesterday. During the night those people went to other places and those places changed them. Someone from those places shapeshifted into them and tonight will probably leave and be replaced by somebody else.

Today is a totally new day. You have also changed. Someone took the place of what you were yesterday and this morning there is a new being in you, looking forward to finding out what life is about.

Then, live this day fully, in this new place, together with new people and situations, with your new self in a brave new world.

Freedom

For most people in the Western world true freedom is not the capacity to do and believe whatever you want. Freedom is rather the capacity to liberate yourself from all the conditioning and ideas that induce you to do what you believe you want.

Vesta: An Astrological Key on Sacred Sexuality

constantin_holscher_im_tempel_der_vestaThe asteroid Vesta was discovered in 1807 and represents the brightest asteroids of the belt. It is named after the virgin Roman goddess of the sacred flame and home altars. Hestia, the Greek name for Vesta, means “hearth”, which is the fire that burns in the heart of the household, the centre of the multi-dimensional family, the Great Tree.

Vesta was very popular in Rome where all meals began and ended with an offering to her. She also received the best part of all sacrifices celebrated in the temples of all Roman gods. Vesta and her priestesses (Vestals) committed to chastity and a laborious life which was compensated with great privileges and honours.

The Vestals’ chastity was not absolute: i.e. they would abstain from conventional sexual relationships based on procreation, sensual or romantic love, but could employ sexual energy for the healing of others and for multidimensional purposes. They were aware of their function in the web of life as representatives of the goddess and gave themselves up to do what later became a most controversial work.

The rapport with these priestesses, or sacred prostitutes, was an initiatory rite, an empowering gift and exchange of medicine, which did not ask any relationship commitment in return. Vesta moves beyond the ordinary ethic of sexuality, confronting us with its crude esoteric reality. These patterns apply to all women and men, yet with various degrees of awareness and intensity.

The Vesta archetype is not against relationships or sex. She simply does not want partners or lovers hanging around and ruining her sacred space.

Astrologically when the connection with this asteroid is strong, time and space to be alone or involved with one’s deep creative or working activities is vital.

The position of Vesta in the natal chart can indicate the areas where the individual is likely to commit to something greater than the ordinary aspects of life and joyously sacrifice herself for the benefit of the whole. Vesta, in general, involves an energy of gentle withdrawal, moving within both spiritually and pragmatically. It is the force that assists us whenever we lose the connection with our true self as a result of investing excessive energies in relating with others.

Vesta is related with sisterhood and brotherhood, both as sibling and mainly as someone with whom the relationship is deep and intimate, yet devoid of romanticism or conventional partnership. In particular, Vesta gives essential clues on how sexual energy can be employed in a sacred, shamanic and healing way.

This is particularly useful for those who have major difficulties in dealing with sex issues. Here Vesta resonates both with Virgo and Scorpio. Many individuals that experience apparent limitations, frustration or deviations in their sexuality, as it is perceived according to consensus reality, have often made a precise choice at the level of their soul, which is essential they understand, in order for them to express their potential and enjoy their true purpose in life.

The relationship with Vesta can help and support the acknowledgement of their true sexual nature and empower shamanic and healing potentials, releasing guilt and conditioning generated by conventional ideas and prejudices.

The transits of Vesta often indicate a time of retreat and solitude, or the beginning of a specific work which is likely to become a sacred service or mission in one’s life. These transits also may relate to a reawakening of our most intimate and sacred way of approaching sexuality and may support significant developments in this respect.

Issues and options

If someone asks for help about a problem or because they would like to get something they want or release something they don’t want, I refer to three main options.

The first involves telling them that if they behave or don’t behave in a certain wave, then they can fix the problem or get what they want or let go of what they don’t want.

The other option implies telling them that no matter how they behave or don’t behave, they will never fix the problem, nor will they get what they want or let go of what they don’t want.

Both options, when they are used simultaneously or at different times, are legitimate and authentic. This is because they cancel each other, paving the way for a third option, which is something nobody can tell anything about.

The Bridal Chamber: multidimensional sexuality & primal embrace

with Franco Santoro.

This workshop explores sexuality and intimate relationships from a multidimensional and shamanic perspective with the aim of healing connections with yourself, partners, relatives, friends and significant people in your life.

Drawing from the astroshamanic healing approach, we will track and release blocks that inhibit the capacity to express our true sexuality, identifying the underlying issues that hinder relationships, promoting compassion, healing, peace and fulfilment.

“For ages on our planet conflicts around sex issues have been a major cause of suffering, addiction and frustration. As we move into a path of rapid spiritual reawakening it is vital to acknowledge these wounds and strenuously promote ways to heal them. From a multidimensional perspective sex is a symbolic representation of the energy pervading the web of life, often described as an ongoing multidimensional intercourse between the earth and the sky, the seen and the unseen.

Many healers and also ordinary, yet highly sensitive, people stand on the threshold of this copulation, right at the point where polarities meet, between the ordinary and non-ordinary, day and night, life and death. Whether they know it or not, they are intensely tied to the essence of creation, stirring up the energy and using it to sustain the web of life. As they do so, they are involved in healing soul-fragmentation, which is the result of belief systems based on separation and the cause of all fears held in our culture.

People who are aware of this healing process work at an archetypal or collective level, as opposed to the personal or self-centred levels most individuals operate from. As a result, they constantly move to different ways of perceiving and using sex energy. Due to the conventional denial and distortion of such themes, this can be unsettling for them and their relationships… (read on at http://astroshamanism.org/sexuality-h...)
