You can never have too many ideas. (The Creativity Explorer. Episode 94)

Last week I posted 40 ideas for titles for my next book on creativity and asked for feedback. 28,000+ people saw the posts, and hundreds  voted in my poll – thank you! All of that triggered a new idea for a title last night in my dreams: THE PURSUIT OF CREATIVITY.That title is currently my favorite idea. That might change 🙂My message this week is that the more ideas we have – and share – the bigger the chance that we come up with the right one. What do you think? And what do you think about the title? (Subtitle is a draft.)#creativity #innovation #creativityexplorerWatch the video here.

Fake Truths. (The Creativity Explorer. Episode 93)

Never mind Fake News – when it comes to innovation we need to watch out for “Fake Truths”: i.e. beliefs that stops us from seeing the potential in new ideas because we falsely think that certain things will not change. What are some Fake Truths that were revealed in your industry? I would love to hear? What are the Fake Truths that we live with today that we will discard in the future? I am curious to what you think.Watch the video hereor on LinkedInFredrik Haren – The Creativity Explorer

ps. You might also like this article that I just published on Influence and Creativity as part of my series “The Creativity Suite”. Just seeing the origin of the word “influence” makes the text worth reading.

Find your “Studium” – Your reason for learning.

Studium is what I call the intersection between a) What you love b) What the market wants c) Where the trends are going.

To be successful tomorrow you today need to find your Studium. (Studium is Latin for “studying something with zeal and dedication/determination”.)

What is your Studium?

Who do you know who is in university now that needs to understand the power of finding their Studium.

Watch the video here

Or on youTube.

As always: If you have a creative idea of how we can help more people discover their full creative potential – through a speech, workshop, consulting, coaching or other collaboration, do reach out to me.

Why you should apply to Ideas Island. (The Creativity Explorer. Episode 92)

Did a video about why sitting on an island is good for your creativity, and about why you should apply to Ideas Island this year (before 15 feb). (Or if you want to be a good friend: Why you should tell your creative friend (who can travel to Stockholm this summer) to apply.

Do not miss the chance to stay on Ideas Island this summer. (Please only apply for 2021 if you really do think you will be able to travel to Sweden this summer considering the Covid restrictions in place this year.) Having said that: staying on an island to work on your ideas is a great place to spend your time during a pandemic! 🙂
