Why did I go back to the Band on the Run Series?
I was recently asked why I went back to write another book in the Band on the Run series.
One More Chance releases 3/28!
I wasn’t sure it was something I was ever going to do because when the series initially released starting back in 2017, it didn’t get the attention it deserved. I actually felt like a failure because my publisher was telling me how bad the series was, but my readers were saying otherwise. When I got the rights back and re-published the original three books, ONE MORE KISS, ONE MORE PROMISE, and ONE MORE MOMENT, not only were fans of the series excited, but suddenly there were new readers. And the one thing they all asked? “Where’s Mick’s Story?” So because I was already a little back in that headspace due to re-publishing the series, I figured, “Why not?” I love the cover and I love this story and I think readers are going to be very happy to get the update not only on the band, but some characters from my Shaughnessy Brothers series too 😊
