A new epic fantasy series begins. Requiem Fire, by Daniel Arenson, tells a story of blood, steel, and dragonfire.

BOOK ONE: BLOOD OF REQUIEM

Long ago stood the kingdom of Requiem, a land of men who could grow wings and scales, breathe fire, and take flight as dragons. Requiem ruled the sky.

Missing blog posts

Hi everyone!

If you've followed my blog posts in the past through Goodreads, you may have noticed that the blog posts have been missing since early December.

For some unknown technical reason, the blog posts have not been picking up from my personal web site during that time. Goodreads fixed it today, so posts should now start coming through. Yay! :)

Cheers!
David

To start, can you tell me a little about yourself.

It all started in a small town in … oh, you want the real story, huh? Actually it started in a city–Montreal to be precise, though my parents moved to Ontario before I was one. I have worn a few hats in my career prior to being published — I worked in...

To start, can you tell me a little about yourself.

There's not much to tell. These days my life is mostly boring, by design. I live in my imagination. This wasn't always the case; you've got to have something to draw on to give your fiction a sense of unique truth. Years ago I lived in Paris and studied mime...

Today, please welcome author, Steve

How long have you been writing and how did you get to this point in your career?

Ever since I was a child, I would annoy my parents with some truly awful stories written with crayon and construction paper. My mom encouraged me anyway, and gave me an electronic word processor. Somewhere, there's a floppy disc...

To start, can you tell me a little about yourself.

During the day I am a mild mannered application programmer/analyst, but at night I become a costumed hero (my costume consists of sweat pants and an old pair of socks).

Actually, I'm 38, live in Ohio, have a lovely wife and daughter, and love horror...

Horror Books of Interest – Guido Henkel's Curse of Kali

Curse of Kali

by Guido Henkel

Beheaded by a statue that came alive?

In Victorian London, the head of a rich writer in the hands of Hindu goddess Kali would certainly indicate so and raises some peculiar questions.

Trying to find out whether the killer was even human, Inspector Lestrade decides to consult two detectives – one, the premier authority in the crime field, the other, famed ghost hunter Jason Dark.

Despite the overwhelming evidence, Dark and Siu Lin reckon there might be an even more s...
