Dockers Should Be Ashamed

I shouldn't have to explain why the below ad is shameful. I appreciate the nostalgia, but when you equate the lack of manliness/masculinity with a decline in society, there's a big problem with how you see the world. The worth of a man is not measured by how/where he dances, the type of coffee he drinks, the food he eats, the clothes he wears, his looks, his assertiveness, the cleanliness of his hands, and certainly not by the pants he wears. A Glimpse Inside My Novel

I can't speak for other authors as to whether they listen to music when they write. I do. And for my fantasy writing I often listen to Evanesence. Here are a couple of videos that give you a sense of the darkness of my first book. (And for the record, I've only just seen these videos for the first time today and realized how well they seem to capture parts of the story. It was the anguish in the music that really helped me to bring out the dark elements in the novel.)
