Recovery Day
Back from the conference and spending the day catching up on emails, unpaid bills (!), house cleaning, laundry, groceries, all that stuff that one would hope magically got done while I was gone, but...alas.
Had a great time at the conf. Met a lot of people, picked up some good reads, and made some important contacts. And I picked up the Reviewers Choice Award for Best Nocturne. All in all, a good time was had by all.

Find me at RT!
I'll be heading to Chicago for the Romantic Times convention this week. If you're interested in getting a book signed, or picking up one of the neato Beautiful Creatures pins I'm handing out, or just saying 'hi', find me at these places:
Friday - Club RT: 10:00 - 11:00
Saturday - Signing (in ballroom?): 11:00 - 2:00
And if you see me walking around or sitting in a restaurant, feel free to say 'hey'. I hope to carry the pins with me all the time. Yes, I know, no one really knows what I look like. It'll be like a scavenger hunt! ;-)

Warlock
I'm working on a short story that explains why Ian Grim went warlock. I love this bad guy, and don't think he can ever be redeemed. But he wasn't always warlock, and now I know why he is. Of course, it involves a woman. ;-) Spent a little time doodling to try and figure a brand he would wear as the mark of a warlock. I know it's a bit intricate for a fire brand, but I like it.

No joke!
You can download my short story, MAXWELL'S SMILE for free! It was written as part of Harlequin's MORE THAN WORDS charity program, and features the Kid Flicks charity that donates DVDs to children's hospitals. It's a sweet story featuring a young, single mother, a precocious young boy, and a sexy carpenter. I had a great time writing it! Go check it out, and let me know what you think.

Win the Wolf!
To celebrate my upcoming release, THE WEREWOLF'S WIFE, I have a fun little prize pack to give away to one lucky winner. Contest is open through March 19th. I'll announce the randomly drawn winner on the 20th, the day the book is available in stores. Winner gets a signed copy of THE WEREWOLF'S WIFE, a perfume vial of (whoda thought!) WEREWOLF LUMBERJACK, a BEAUTIFUL CREATURES lapel pin, and a gorgeous silver bracelet with a wolf and heart charm. What do you have to do to win? Leave a comment below, and tell me, if you had to date or marry or paranormal creature, what breed would it be?

Explore the world of Beautiful Creatures
Have you been to Club Scarlet lately? If you've read any of my books set in the Beautiful Creatures world, and are interested in who the characters interact, and if they know one another, then stop by the club for all the info. You can select characters by name, or by critter type. In the mood for a witch story? Select 'witch' and you'll see all the witch characters, learn a little more about each, and what books they are in. Reading a story and come across a term that doesn't particularly explain itself? Stop into the club and click on "Terms"; you'll find the answer there. And if you like a particular character, you can 'Like' him or her and tell everyone about it on Facebook!Have fun!
