So I wanted to make my first vampire romance, DARK RAPTURE, free for a limited time so that readers who hadn't opportunity to read it yet could pick it up.  It's now free at Amazon, and you'll find it free at most other online retailers (though, I'm not so sure B&N will follow suit).  This is the only authorized digital edition of the book, and it includes the sequel WICKED ANGELS, as well.  Such a deal!  Two books for free.  How can you resist?

Now, I do want to say that when I wrote this story, it was my first story ever.  I hadn't the concept for the Beautiful Creatures world, yet, but later, as I wrote my paranormal romance, I stuck with some of the original concepts I'd used in Dark Rapture.  Because I know the hero, Sebastian DelaCourte does exist in my current incarnation of the world.  I may have slightly altered a few of the vampiric traits in the newer books, but that was because my idea of the world is and was evolving.  As well, my writing as grown since this first novel was published in 1997.  I hope you understand that as you read, and I hope you'll agree that I have improved!

The second book, Wicked Angels, is a true sequel, so I suggest you read Dark Rapture first.  WA picks up a year after Sebastian and Scarlet have found one another, and isn't as much a 'first meet fall in love' romance as 'this is how they continued on in their lives' story.

So go to your favorite online retailer and check out these two stories!  They won't stay free for too long.  (Just a warning.)

No More Blogging

I've been neglecting the blog lately, and I've decided I don't have much to say that I'm not already saying at my Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest accounts.  So this is the last blog post.  Naturally this blog will stay online.  You just can't erase Blogger accounts. And I'll keep the left sidebar updated with current releases, because I know reader's use that.
