I can't claim to understand the cycles in my work. I've written a lot of real world, contemporary type stuff of late, light on the paranormal elements, (Naked Canvas, assorted f/f things) but in the late summer and early autumn, I produced a fantasy novella. I've gone back to my forest setting - Estraguil (assorted older tales at
www.whiskeycreekpress.com). Servant of the Forest is a tale of love, war and sacrifice. The cover, and title were organised for me by the fabulous marshpixie, Sarah Morton, who also edited. She's a star.
Alongside this I've written a whole heap of Copper Age fiction, which is destined for self publishing at amazon and on kindle, just as soon as Tom has the art done for me.
