The Driver's Guide to Hitting Pedestrians is NOW AVAILABLE

A pocket guide to the twenty-three most painful things in life, written by the most well-adjusted man in the universe.

Does it make you sad to be alive?
Boo-hoo. You're living all wrong.
My name is Andersen Prunty. I'm happiest while napping. I am a man with tennis shoes. They get older every time I put them on. This is how I deal with the pain of being alive. Now is our chance to deal with our pain together. You'll thank me later.

Love and euphoria,
Andersen :)

Horrorfind Weekend

I'll be in Gettysburg, PA, Labor Day weekend for Horrorfind. Last year was my first one of these and I had a really good time. A tentative list of the readings and author panels can be found on Brian Keene's website. Many thanks to Brian for organizing it. Within the Bizarro World section these are the authors reading and participating in a Q&A:

Jeff Burk
Gregory Hall
Eric Mays
William Pauley III
Jordan Krall
Nick Cato
and myself.

Last year we sold books afterward. I imagine it will be the same this year. If not, we will all be wandering around and will happily sign books for you. I will be bringing very few books. The only ones I can say I will probably have for sure are The Driver's Guide to Hitting Pedestrians and Morning is Dead. There is still plenty of time to order anything you might want signed from Amazon or your bookseller of choice.

Your Good Time Summer Soundtrack

Here are 23 songs to soothe the 23 most painful things in your life. Listen to these songs, let them sink into your viscera and help prepare you for my life changing collection of affirmations, The Driver's Guide to Hitting Pedestrians.

(You might have to actually be signed into a Grooveshark account to listen to all the songs. This is just a theory.)

Death Race 2011

I'm keeping all of my Kindle titles at 99 cents until the end of June. If you follow me on Facebook or Twitter, you might be aware that I've made it a competition to see which book sells the best. It was too hard to keep updating people on all these various pages or seemed confusing to me if someone saw a random post that said, "The Sorrow King leads" so I've decided to consolidate things here. If you look to your right you will see a heading that says "Death Race 2011." I will periodically (at least once a day) update this list to show the books' standing. What will the winner get? Well, first, I'm going to think of this book highly. Every day, I'm going to look at it and think, "You're the winner," which will really mean something to the book. Also, whenever people ask me which of my books they should start with, I'll say, "Start with Book X, it's a winner."

Thanks to everyone who has picked up a copy or bought all the ones they didn't already have. It helps in ways you wouldn't believe.

For those who haven't, here's a link to a really big picture of my face and all of my titles on Amazon: CLICKY

And stay tuned, I should have a new book announcement coming for you soon!

All My Books at 99 Cents

It's a thousand and six degrees outside which means it must be summer. For a limited time, you can get ALL of my Kindle titles for just 99 cents each. This will be the last time for a long time that most of these titles are that cheap. If you've read one of my books and kind of liked it, now might be a good time to pick up the rest. Not all of them have flipped over to .99 cents yet, but they should within a day or so. Here are links to each one:

The Overwhelming Urge
Jack and Mr. Grin
Zerostrata
The Beard
Morning is Dead
My Fake War
Slag Attack
The Sex Beast of Scurvy Island
The Sorrow King
Fuckness

Or you can click HERE

As always, thanks for reading. Have a good summer and please help spread the word about this.
