Give It Back by Danielle Esplin
This book kept me interested and guessing till the end! I think this is a great book. I loved it. This book changed POV quite often and most of the time, I don’t like this, but I was surprised that is worked well for this author. She is a great author, I can tell! I was very impressed with this book. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5

The Knaasts Saga: No Secrets Trilogy complete by Luciana Correa
This was a long read for me. But I liked it in the end. I work full time so I don’t feel like I get as much time as I would like to read. So long books take me so much longer to finish. This book had some good twists and turns and I was excited by the characters. Ella was a character I liked. There was so much in this book, angels and demons and much more. You need to check out this book and see what you think. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5

Rayne: Luminescence by Quoleena Sbrocca
What a unique and interesting world this author has created in this book. I was captured from the beginning. The characters were engaging and strong. I felt a connection with Rayne. I think this would be a great book for a teen as well. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 4/5

Day 51 of 90: Schrodinger’s box #asmsg #iartg #ian1 #SupportIndieAuthors
I’m a firm believer in immersing yourself in other people’s work in order to help get the creative juices flowing. One of my favorite things to do is go onto different picture sites, and just see what people post.
Everything from everyday life, to fantastical masterpieces of art, they all can be good fuel for writing and creating your worlds.
Seeing how different creatures jump from the page, powerful creations that almost make you believe they could be real.
The same with movies, television, and books.
An emotional scene from a movie or television can help you deal with a similar situation in your writing.
The way a character attacks a given situation can give you insight into your own characters.
As creators, I believe we have to absorb as much as we create. We have to pay constant attention to the world around us, while channeling what we see with our vision onto the page.
I’m sure you’ve heard the saying, ‘the eyes are the window of the soul’. Well, I believe they’re projectors as well. Until our eyes light upon said object, and we project our observations onto it, the item may not truly be there. Maybe we’re all just cats in Schrodinger’s box.

Shots Fired in the Melting Pot by T.C. Clover
Add people who are completely opposite into a apartment and stir. This book was interesting and had some good moments. But I was just not that much into it. I don’t watch much reality TV so for me I just felt like that is what this book was trying to do. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 3/5

Beauty and Other Vices by Marcia Griswold
This was a very different book. I enjoyed it! The characters were wonderful! They were very complex and at times felt like they jumped off the page. This book had me from the beginning. I was enchanted and enthralled the whole time. What I great book!. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5

Blood Passage by Malcolm Pierce
Wow to wake up in a different place. That is a little creepy to say the least. I think this book has lots of action. It is a great thriller. I was not sure what I would think about it at first but I did get into it. I enjoyed it. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5

Day 50 of 90: No Time For Losers #ASMSG #IARTG #IAN1 #SupportIndieAuthors #Inspiration
I was listening to a song today, We Are The Champions, without the music in it. Really shows off Freddy Mercury’s voice. But there was a line from the song that resonated with me this morning for some reason.
No time for losers.
Not everyone is a loser, but the people who want to hold you down for no one’s sake but their own, they’re losers.
I see it a lot, especially within the indie author community, and I don’t understand it. Just last night I watched a bit of a slingfest between authors, and I just don’t get it. I don’t understand how people on the one hand can say, “All indie books are rubish, they need professional editing and none of them make any sense.” can turn around and in the next topic say, “Well, my book is the greatest gift to men on Earth. Within its pages are the keys to understanding the meaning of life, the square root of pi, and a romantic romp through the woods with a shapeshifting hunk of a man.” (I’m using general things I’ve seen, not pointing at any one author.)
If you are an independent author, or even a small press author, and you’re disparaging other people’s work without actually reading it, you are part of the problem.
Some people just won’t like your book. Expect it, it’s going to happen. But some people are just assholes, only looking to hold self published authors down, for whatever reason. I’m here to tell you to look at them, lift your middle finger proudly, and tell them under no circumstances do you accept their opinion. If they’re going to hate on you just to hate, it’s better to ignore.
It’s high school all over again.

The Mighty by Michael J. Sanford
The cover of this book threw me a little. I wasn’t sure what to think of the book. But I was pleasantly surprised by this book. I like the druids in most things I have seen so this book was great. Wyatt was a fun and interesting character. I was impressed by this book! You have got to check it out of yourself! * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review* 5/5
