#SIAFBB Event starts tomorrow! #FreeBooks #Kindle #Ebooks #SupportIndieAuthors

Man, I haven’t been able to catch a break in awhile. Spent a ton of time working on audio, because acx keeps telling me there’s something wrong with the audio. And while I went almost all winter without a cold or flu, this past 2-3 weeks have kicked my ass. Had a head cold that became a chest cold, only for it to jump back into the head before dropping back into the chest again. What a pain in the ass. All that being said, I will be posting reviews from Aly shortly. Keep being awesome, and #SupportIndieAuthors

Cruisin’through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 3/20/2017 part 4

Her Name is Grace by Shidorr Myrick-Gayer

I was very excited about this book when I got it.  But I was disappointed in this one.  This book lost me about half way through the book.  The beginning of the book was hard for me to get into and I just wished for more from this book.  I think the author had some good ideas in this story but this book was kind of a mess for me. 3/5

Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 3/20/2017 part 3

Silent Child by Sarah A. Denzil

I enjoyed this book very much.  I wanted to guess who I thought took Aiden but my guess was wrong.  I wanted to help Emma through out this book and I felt for her situation.  I am not sure if I could live through what she has.  The book was very exciting to me and I think this is a new author for me.  So, I will try more books from this author again.   I wonderfully engaging book for me!  5/5

Cruisin’through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 3/20/2017 part 1

Reaper’s Claim by Simone Elise

I don’t find too many books about reaper’s so when I do I can’t wait to read them.  This book’s characters twin sisters who are very much opposite of each other is good. One sister is an artist and one sister  a party animal.    This book did remind of the old TV show “Sister, Sister” a little bit.  I think the characters were likeable to me and I think the story is great for a young adult audience.   I enjoyed the book.  * I received this book from the author—this is my honest review* 4/5

Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 3/16/2017 part 2

Infinity’s Doorway by David Wind

Aaron is obsessed with finding a strange woman  after a bad car accident. This book had alternate worlds and the other side.  In a way it reminds me of Grimm the TV show lately.  They are exploring this too in the show this season. I am a little unconvinced about the romance story in the book and since I listened to this book as an audio book I would say I wish the narrator sued his pitch a little more with his voice.  I like the characters to all sounds different, they sounds a little different if I really listened but not very much.   “This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.”    3/5

Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 3/16/2017 part 1

Spectra by Ebony Olson

Lies, intrigue, and characters full of mystery and suspense.  This book was is a paranormal romance and I do like these type of books.  This book was just as exciting and full of magic and sex.  This book was full of many things.  I did want more at the end.  * I received this book from the author—this is my honest review*  4/5

Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly part 3

Four (Rules Undying #1) by R. E. Carr

Georgia Sutherland, who is the vampire’s current assistant is looking for a replacement/helper.  I really wanted to like this book and get into it but I couldn’t do it.  I felt like the whole time a story was being told to me from Georgia and it just didn’t work for me.  I loved the cover of this book so I wanted to like everything about it but I was a bit underwhelmed.    This is a vampire book but it is different than I thought but for me this story didn’t work. 3/5
