Cruisin’ through books cause books make life worth living with Aly 6/24/2016 part 2

Spring-Clean by Proxy by Robert Bayley

This book surprised me.  From the title of the book, I was not sure what to expect.  I was blown away by this book.  It was very different from what I have read before and I enjoyed it.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

Be Careful What You Witch For by Thomas Hoobler

I really enjoyed this book.  It made me laugh in places.  I loved the character of Olivia and I of course loved all the magic in this book.  I would read more from this author.  I have not read anything else from this author yet but this book makes me want to see what else Thomas Hoobler writes.  * I received this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*  5/5

The Womb by May G.

At first look for me, I thought this book would be weird.  But I was wrong!    I don’t have any kids of my own but I do still enjoy this story and I can still relate.  Everybody has some kind of parent child relationship they can draw on with this book.  I think this book was very interesting and unique.  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  4/5

Big World Network: Quan and Thompson work to save it, offer hope to ‘People and Dreams’

Gwen Bristol

Help save Big World Network Help save Big World Network

Meeting Jared Quan and James Thompson for the first time was a quietly impressive experience. Both are soft-spoken, and it wasn’t until five minutes into my conversations with them that I realized they are some of the most dynamic people I’ve ever met.

Besides being a successful marketer, Quan serves on several community boards, building partnerships between local cities and the League of Utah Writers. As president-elect of the League, he planned and facilitated this year’s spring conference. The partnerships he brought to the table resulted in one of the best spring conferences the League has seen.

That’s where I met Thompson. I was looking for a stylus, and he had one.

Several, in fact. As we sat behind the registration table, he told me the styluses he brought were part of his marketing plan, advertising his book. I learned he helped other authors with…

The Bones Will Tell by Vickie McKeehan

This book was good.  For me, it was a little slow in the beginning and I didn’t read book one so I felt like I needed to catch up to what happened in book 1.  But the author and the story helped me to catch up.  I think the book was very good and I enjoyed the characters.  I liked Skye and Josh the best.     5/5

Consequences by John Quick

This book was great!  I love horror books and I find them to be rare when they are good.  I wish there were more books out there like this one!  In this book you are inside the mind of the psychopath.  This book remind me of my favorite movie “Freddy Kruger and the Nightmare on Elm Street movies”.  It was great!  * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*  5/5
