I find myself with a moment…

So, I turned in my first round edits for "All Or Nothing" and I'm reminded anew that even if this book wasn't mine, I'd really like it. I just love watching difficult people fall in love.

Well, in books anyway. In real life, you just wanna smack them with shovels.

Actually, you might want to smack Lucas and Belle with a few shovels too. But I promise, they are worth the read. :)

So, I've been a good little writer and worked out my taxes, paid some bills and got the editing done. It's a...

Zonktastic

As is the way of all young kids, the boy brought home a bug. And it grew happy here, and prospered.

Today is day two of weird stomach flu like thing. I feel like I've been out to sea for a few days and have not yet adjusted to the motion. This is not a good feeling. Thankfully, the twins are looking to be over the hump with it. With any luck, the grossness will be gone soon.

I'm working on some great updates for y'all, so I should have that up in time for the upcoming holiday.

I admit, I'm...

Pale has a Home!!

Woohoo! Now, it's not totally official–contracts still have to be signed–but Angela James made an offer today for "Tempting The Enemy", AKA Pale, the werewolf paranormal story! I am SO excited!

I also just took a look at my schedule and gulped. Gonna be a busy year, methinks!

SO excited!!!

Eventful Week

Good thing: I got 1300 words done yesterday on my OTDF! project. I've finished the synop and need 3k by Friday to send it off. It WILL be done.

Bad thing: Babies got into some ill placed Tylenol and about gave me a heart attack. They had a blood test and didn't have to do the ipicac thing or the charcoal thing. Apparently, I was fast enough to stop them, but until you know for sure, let me assure you, it's scary as hell.

Eyes are a bit dry from not blinking while I watch them, but it's the...

When Babies Sleep…

Shatner is a Momma's girl, which isn't always a bad thing. Like when she needs to sleep in my arms to sleep well. I get beautiful pictures like this:

Trouble, though, is a bit more adventurous, so don't you dare tell her where she can or cannot sleep. At least I think that's what happened.

Otherwise, this is just inexplicable:

Just goes to show, some babies are just nuts.

Well, who saw THAT coming?

And nope, I don't mean the break in blogging. I'm sure everyone but me saw that coming. What I mean is the new idea. I've been working on it all weekend and it's amazing! Deep emotion, deep sensuality, really solid characters. Working on the synopsis and the first few chapters really sucks a few hours from the weekend, but that's okay. It feels good to get some roadwork done on my brain.

I have plans for some new updates for you, too. Like an excerpt page for my April release, "All Of You"! I ...

*Covering My Eyes*

So, last night didn't go so well for my guys. My amazing kicker–most accurate in NFL history–couldn't make a field goal to save his life and began the long, painful slide to the end of our post-season dreams. Our famous running back turned into a sullen kid on the bench. Our offensive line didn't seem capable of handling a play without turning it into a 5 yard false-start penalty. Our receivers didn't seem to know that half the plays required them to catch the ball. And I don't know what the ...
