thatdiabolicalfeminist:

There’s this ableist idea that the default is for people to have zero disabilities and mental illnesses. That’s why there’s a concept of there being “too many diagnoses” - because people totally assume there’s like, a Perfectly Normal Human to begin with and that that idealized body has zero brain issues or disabilities.

And that’s so wrong. That’s just as wrong as assuming non-intersex, cishet middle-class white guys are the Perfectly Normal Human of which everyone els...

Lewis Tan Fought to Play Iron Fist Hero Instead of Villain

memorian:

Tan shared on Twitter that he “almost” played Danny Rand, but the role ultimately went to Game of Thrones actor Finn Jones. Instead, Tan was cast as Zhou Cheng, a servant of Ch’i-Lin who’s tasked with killing every iteration of the Iron Fist. alyciajazmin:

“Pretty Girl’ is one of my favorite songs on my new EP, Citrine. It’s an acknowledgement of all those beautiful women you come across and think to yourself, ‘gosh, that girl is just so beautiful,’ but never say anything or act on it. So often I’ll think it without saying anything. With this song, I just wanted to share that appreciation.”

“Lee (Seven Tears at High Tide) offers up a fast-paced, engaging tale set in a quasi-dystopian 22nd-century America where the line between hero and villain is often blurred.
