Starting Your NaNoWriMo Journey

Whether you’re new to NaNoWriMo or you’ve done it a few times, the whole thing can still feel pretty daunting. Since we’re only a couple days away from the start of a new one, I want to encourage you to set some goals and make sure you’ve done some planning before diving in. When you only have a month to complete a project, you’ll want to make sure you’re organized and excited.

Here are a few tips for making your NaNoWriMo journey an enjoyable one:

what's your inspiration of how the character of NYS looks like? because I'm thinking of doing fan art (hopefully) like I get some basic idea but not as a whole picture like heights, hair, body ECT (p.s. read your book in a few hrs I love it)

NaNoWriMocan be super intimidating, especially if the concept of“writing of a novel in a month” sounds absolutely terrifying, especially to someone like me who can write at a snail’s pace and gets stuck at every turn. The first time I did NaNo I made it about 3k in and gave up as the weeks passed because there was no way I was ever going to finish. That mindset was pretty much a self-fulfilling prophecy.
