Review - Possessing Hayley

Reviewed by Lacy for Bitten by Books
"In spite of being a short novella, the author does a nice job of developing both Hayley and Alec into likable and sympathetic characters. Alec is a bad boy with a good heart who is caring and gentle. Hayley is vulnerable and sweet with a bad girl inside waiting for the chance to break free. They complement each other and turn out to be just what the other needs."

Who Knew?

So I'm reading a book, NOCTURNE (by: Syrie James) and her character mentions the "Dracula" Orchid. I thought "Really?" So off to Google I go where I found this intense looking Orchid called the Dracula Vampira. I figured I would share :)
If you look at them long enough they start to look rather vulgar, don't you think?

Movie Recommendation

A lonely young aristocrat in turn-of the century England stuggles to meet the approval of his over-bearing, class-conscious father while trying to please the selfish woman he loves.

There's nothing I love more than a costume movie!! I felt Basil hit all the right notes. The cast was great, the scenery lovely, the clothing to die for and the plot twisted enough to keep me enthralled for nearly two hours. What more could I want??
For anyone thinking, Wait, I think I saw this. It's possible you have. The movie was released in 1998, but movies like this never get old. At least in my opinion. Basil is a keeper that I'll be watching again whenever my inspiration well runs dry and I need a jolt of British drama!
