Aforementioned: aphorisms and questions for 2015

Message to Paris: Research into safe social and technological ways for woman to avoid pregnancy is even more important than research into renewable energy.

A twitter feed enforces brevity of expression and sometimes that means that things are left out. Here the point is that women will not be able to do much to control human population if they are subject to the sexual whims of menfolk. Therefore, there will need to be some substantial rewards for men to persuade them to give up on their heretofore dominant sexual rights.

Aforementioned: aphorisms and questions for 2015

Message to Paris: finding safe, humane ways to curb irresponsible fatherhood is at least as important as ending the use of fossil fuels.

Picture Do you think that all these men would buy into a one one child per fertile woman policy? It might help if we could find ways to make sex more pleasurable protected than it is unprotected. It is worth noting that this picture comes from the 1995 Million Man March which was called to focus on ways for these men to pay more attention to their domestic responsibilities. We need to bear in mind that one child per fertile man is surely the logical outcome of a one child per fertile woman policy.

The fewer of us, the more space for other species to get on with the crucial restoration of the natural carbon cycle. Picture
