Tell Me A Story with new stories in Kindle
Tell Me A Story
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00p2bnl8a
There are stories about many a things in this book this year, stories about fantastical creatures that might roam on earth and in other planets. Some restless spirits and celestial beings are also there for you, then of course there are some dark creatures and entities too!
The stories of this book are sort of following the tradition of the first issue without the illustrations. There are quite a nice number of stories in this book, they are all quite small in size and are very versatile in genres or mood. You will get almost all types of stories in this book this year, I don’t know if I will change the style next year! But this year you will get sci-fi, supernatural, realistic and fantasy stories in the book.
Hope you will enjoy the mixed platter as much as I enjoyed putting them together and writing it. Hated the editing part though but that is necessary evil! Ha!
Do drop me a line after reading!

Black Mist And Other Stories with new stories in Kindle
Black Mist And Other Stories
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ontgsbe
The cover story of the book is same from the first issue of the book. It is a spooky, dark story about a vengeful witch whose path one should not cross, ever! The remaining stories are mixed platter. A fantasy story that is certainly not scary but the remaining stories have maintained their first issue air, that is, I have tried to add spooky to scary stories mostly.
This book is for people like me who enjoy a good spook and chill like a daily cup of tea, coffee. The title story is the only story that is common with the previous edition of this book, others are new.
This year the stories are not much dark though. A mixed platter of fantasy and eerie stories for you!
Don’t forget to share your views after reading.

THURSDAY RHYMES 4.7.19
I am that daughter of darkness
the stark truth that will make you flinch!
The one that will rip your cocoon
of make believe Shangri la named earth!
Tread in my world with caution,
I am that newborn girl
dumped at road by my own parents
wishing I was dead.
I am that daughter sold
to flesh-eaters by her life givers!
They just wanted to get rid of me
in return of some easy dough of-course!
I am that daughter whose mother
turns away her face
when the hands that were to protect me
rip me into pieces.
Tread in my world with caution,
I don’t want to tear your world apart!
Read the warning sign,
brace yourself and enter.
A bouquet of wildflowers
This book is mostly about human nature, its complexity. Both its darkness and light has been shared in this book. Beware many poems are pretty direct, harsh straight from real world! But there are a few lighter ones too don’t worry.
As you may know it started with my storybooks in 2017, I kept the titles of the books but changed their contents fully, excluding the title stories. I told that I will include the poetry books from next year, here they are from 2018 onwards the contents of the poetry books will change too, most probably every year. In case of poetry books there are no title poems so majority of the contents or all contents will change. Hope you will enjoy them! I really don’t have any intentions of adding more titles in Amazon, I have stuffed up too many already, but I am stuffed with works so I will just change the contents every year, of as many books as I can handle! The createspace books, the paperbacks will be deleted this year-2019, so from this year onwards only poems, illustrated books will be in shoptly only barring few illustration based books in Kindle.

spirits of darkness and light
$1.08
The title stories of the book – Spirts of darkness and Spirits of light are same as previous issues, but remaining stories are fresh, this time the stories are a bit inclined towards darker shade but there are lighter ones too. The regulars that is ghosts and other supernatural beings are of course there, along with them are evil human beings and not very nice aliens. But there are harmless ones too, ghosts and aliens and of course human beings. Hope you will enjoy this book!

Sharmishtha’s stories are captivating. Her characters although purely original bring some of India’s mythological creatures to light with a style of writing that can only be attributed to that of a true mistress of story-telling. Nothing is what it seems as each incredible tale keeps you wondering what is going to happen next with endings that are in no way predictable. A thoroughly enjoyable read!

A good read, be it a dark night or brightly lit afternoon! January 14, 2015
Ms. Basu has in this book, a compelling portrayal of supernatural beings both benign and malignant. Here, she shows her skill in writing tales on the paranormal beings of India and the mortal characters who interact with these creatures as well. Very enjoyable!

The child of woods with new stories in Kindle
The child of woods
$1.08
Only the title story is repeated in the book the remaining are new stories. This time the stories are about ghosts, fantasy creatures and human beings. There are some spooky stories of ghosts, some blood-curdling stories of human beings and some gentler stories of fantasy creatures and vampires! Hope you will enjoy the stories.
Child of Woods – Review (older version) Troy David Loy: https://www.amazon.com/author/troyloy
The child of woods:
A woman finds a mysteriously abandoned child in a forest hut and adopts him, later to discover his faerie heritage and true mother. As the title story from the original book, this is quite good, and I’m glad it was retained.
The haunting of Everest Lodge:
A ghost needs some time to herself, without all those pesky Living crowding out her home, and spoiling the decor. This one is forced to deal with the annoyance of ghost hunters and paranormal investigators who treat her as little more than an exhibition!
Lonely island:
A dead woman and her still living husband are separated by the veil of the hereafter, in a touching, two-sided story, that almost brung tears to my eyes.
Naughty little alien:
An alien child decides to have fun tormenting the primitives while his parents are out of the room, and gets caught. I liked this one, as it reminds me in good ways of Star Trek’s episode “The Squire of Gothos.”
New genesis:
Human children are gathered to repopulate the species after being rescued by aliens, and taken to another world. A good one, message-wise.
Nine specters:
Partygoers and thrill-seekers get caught up in an attempt to open a portal to another world by ghostly witches and wizards, an attempt foiled by the sacrificed grandchild of one of the specters. I like that the evil ones came to a bad end, but then one often get what they pay for, not always what they think they do.
