Fall 2020 favorite One Room Challenge renovations
This year has been a rocky one and the One Room Challenge has responded. The spring event was delayed and extended due to COVID shutdowns and safety, and this fall the featured designers did digitally rendered designs instead of physical ones. And/but, there were still almost 400 guest participants!!
The One Room Challenge is not only a fun community event for designers and influencers, it's also a chance to go a little out of the box or comfort zone. I did that with our green half bathroom reno...

Plus, I keep a pret...

Versatile modern canvas art DIY/repurposing tutorial
I think this is my fave DIY project of 2020!! Not including our recent bathroom reno, but that's a different category... anyway I recently did this very quick and easy (even for me, with a newborn and toddler) DIY art piece and I LOVE it!!
When I got this leather bench (to add seating and nicely fill this corner by the door), I decided I really had to stop dragging my feet about art for this wall. We have two mirrors in this room, and used to have some small vintage-look oil paintings, so I wante...
