Brief heads up

Brief heads up, I'm battling a vile virus, alas. I've been trying to ignore it this past week, but I've had to throw in the towel cos it's wiping me out. If I owe you email or anything else, it may be delayed. I'm trying to keep up, but things are slipping here and there.

I'm hoping I'm at the eleventh hour before the dawn! Send healing vibes if you have any to spare for me. :)

Yes, I've had a face lift...

...or at least the blog has. I need one too, but that's another story.

Apologies to anyone who called by when I was trying out different things with the blog, I was having way too much fun with it! Ultimately I fell in love with the sensuous roses so I think we'll be staying with this one for the time being, and it does work well with my web site colours.

Don't worry, I have been doing proper work as well! I'm deep in THE HARLOT again, (uuumm..oooerr! And funnily enough, so true. Emotionally!...

Drive by catch up

A quick drive by catch up. We're off to North Wales for a short break today, much anticipated!

This past week has been busy. I've been working on edits for SORCERESS alongside some more research for THE HARLOT.

SORCERESS is all done and off to the proofer, yay! It's around 10K longer than the original version of this book, and there's a deeper focus on the romance. I'm excited about it coming out. Just a few weeks now!

On the research front, I had a very fruitful trip to Leeds City Museum, wh...

Buy this erotica anthology and help end global poverty!

Coming Together: As One is a multi-author anthology of erotic fiction and poetry edited by Alessia Brio with an introduction by the one and only Samantha Kane, mistress of ménage. ALL proceeds from the sale of this volume will benefit ONE, the campaign to end global poverty.

"For the lovers who believe three is not a crowd, crave (at least) eight arms to hold them, and often consult the Twister mat for new position ideas, this book is for you. While some might argue that love and passion are...

Dawn of another week

Hi folks, it's the start of another week and they seem to fly by. I'm currently deep in writing for THE HARLOT, I have edits due for SORCERESS, and a galley to proof for a friend.

I've reached the half way point with THE HARLOT. Wahay! The goal is 100K but I need to aim for 95K because I always go over at the end. (Um, if that makes sense ;) I love the way this one is coming together. It's slow writing, but the characters are unwillingly unfolding their secrets at the mo and it has to be don...

RAMPANT is a Joyfully Recommended title!

Thrilled to bits here, Amelia at Joyfully Reviewed has listed RAMPANT as a Joyfully Recommended title! Here's what she had to say:

Oh my…grab a bucket of ice, set it by the fan and then turn off the phone, because once you start this novel you won't want to put it down. Rampant is by turns sexy, erotic and dark, and it kept me enthralled, page after page. I fell in love with Zoë from the opening scene. She is an independent woman who doesn't allow herself to be lead around by the nose. Her...

Remembering Peter O'Donnell & Modesty Blaise

I was going to blog about something completely different today, but I heard that Peter O'Donnell had died and it made me think about Modesty Blaise. I grew up reading Peter O'Donnell's Modesty Blaise books, and I was so enamoured with her character that I actually wanted to BE Modesty. Modesty was a beautiful, sophisticated, intelligent, powerful, ex-criminal, black-clad, secret service agent. What's not to love? Okay, she was pretty much a female James Bond, so that was quite a high and ...

Good things going on: a new sale and a new review

Yesterday I had some terrific news. My short story "The Woman in His Room" has been selected to appear in the next volume of THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST NEW EROTICA. I was giddy when I heard! This is a prestigious annual collection and it's an honour to have one of my stories appear in it. "The Woman in His Room" originally appeared in GIRLS ON TOP, edited by Violet Blue and published by Cleis Press.

In more good news, Ashley Lister has reviewed UNLEASHED on behalf of the Erotica Readers and...
