Eden, Unplugged
Interview with the fabulous Eden Bradley.
I wanted help coming up with questions for you so I asked my blog readers to submit some to me for you. The first question submitted was a tried and true one. Where do you find your inspiration? Is it based all in fantasy or is there some reality within it?
Eden/Eve: Of course much of my inspiration comes from pure fantasy. Who hasn't had a dream or a few moments alone in their head? I simply turn mine into full stories on paper. And as a writer, you learn to sort of farm your mind for different scenarios. But some of my inspiration has also come from real life. I've led a…varied existence-lol! Something I'm not afraid to talk about, and often have. And that runs anywhere from modeling a hero on a guy I couldn't forget to writing about actual experiences (with a few embellishments, perhaps, and names changed to protect the not-so-innocent).
Why erotic romance?
Eden/Eve: Well, it's a helluva lot of fun, to begin with! But also because I'm a people-watcher—I majored in psychology in college—so what makes people tick is endlessly fascinating to me. I like to really dig deep when exploring my characters. And the deep stuff, the most powerful stuff, tends to come out when a person is at their most raw, their most vulnerable, which often happens during sex. If you want to strip a person down to their most basic, primal selves—literally and metaphorically—start by getting them naked. Or, you know, bent over a desk with a blindfold on…
What is a favorite line or moment from one of your own books?
Eden/Eve: Ooh, so many! But right now I am madly in love with my vampires, especially my poor, tortured Ever. I've even written a short prequel story about him. EVER: THE TURNING, which I'm putting out myself at the end of this month.I've even had a book trailer made for that story by the fabulous Saturday Buffet:
…But there is a moment in his book, EVERSONG, Book Four in my Midnight Playground series, where you see a flash back to his past, to the female vampire who made him. Vérún is an even more tragic figure, and there is something so powerful to me in their love for each other while they battle her encroaching insanity. Here's a small peek:
Together they moved. Pleasure was hot, sharp. His heart hammered as his hips arched, as she took him into her body, over and over. As she bit into his shoulder, his neck, pulling his blood into her hot mouth, tearing his flesh. Still, he could only see a darkness inside her. But he kept fucking her. Kept loving her.
Vérún.
She gasped as she came, then screamed. He was coming, too, his hips pistoning. And before he was done with the final shivers of his climax, she was crying. Still drinking from the wound in his throat, pulling at his blood, sobbing against his skin.
"Vérún," he whispered, his body going weak as she drained him. "Do not do this, my love."
His fingers went into her long, silky hair, trying to pull her head back. She fought him even as she cried.
"Stop, my love. I cannot fight your sadness if I am made too weak."
She latched on. Cried harder. Drank more deeply. Until he had to dig into her scalp and yank her head back so hard he heard the bones of her neck crack with the force of it.
He was gasping for breath. She had taken too much again. He blinked at her lovely face, which was covered in her tears, his blood.
"Ah…" she made a noise, a strangled sound coming from deep in her throat. She pushed away from him, fell to the ground in a crumpled heap.
"No, Vérún…"
He bent over her, gathered her in his arms, his heart breaking.
If only he could take her sadness from her. The shadows that haunted her mind. That had begun to fill it completely lately.
Vérún. His lover. His love.
"I want to die," she sobbed.
"No," he protested. "You cannot leave me."
"But I will, Ever. You know I must."
He only rocked her in his arms. And tried to resist the knowledge that the unthinkable would surely happen, just as she said. It was the one thing he was helpless against. Her darkness. Her shadows. The death that hovered always over his love, and that eventually, he would not be able to fight.
Are there any romance tropes you love? What about hate?
Eden/Eve: I can love them all, as long as they're done well, in a way that's organic to the characters and makes for an interesting story. I believe that a really talented writer can write about anything and make it magical for the reader.
How do you manage your time? Are you too easily distracted by the internet when you should be writing? Twitter? Facebook? Can you ease in and out of places like that while you write or do you set aside times to play?
Eden/Eve: I'm supposed to manage my time…? Seriously, I am awful at it. I get caught up in Facebook and Twitter and visiting blogs and my Yahoo group because I love talking to readers, as well as other writers. I think that kind of interaction is just as important for me as it is to them. No one can exist in a bubble—which is really the only way a book gets written—so it's necessary to break out and socialize once in a while. Finding a good balance is the hard part. I haven't figured it out yet.
What would be off limits to you in writing. (besides the cardinal no-no's like incest, rape, etc.)
Eden/Eve: I'm really not into the whole toe-sucking thing. DP, rimming, fisting, even an intimate golden shower I'm okay with, but toes….*shudder*
If you could go to any workshop, given by any author, what would it be?
Eden/Eve: I would love to hear Tanith Lee talk about how she develops her characters and her worlds. Her prose is just magic for me.
If you could co-author a story with any author who would it be?
Eden/Eve: I'm a terrible control freak, so the idea is absolutely agonizing! But I have to say I have recently considered the idea of co-writing something with my dear friend and critique partner R.G. Alexander—'considered' being the key word-lol! We're sort of attached at the hip, anyway, and when the Smutketeers did our Wasteland continuity series together for Samhain, while everyone chimed in on building the world, her story and mine were very closely linked and I think they wove together beautifully. I can almost imagine writing a book with her. It would have to involve bunnies. She knows what that means…*G*
All the writers I know are also avid readers, at least they were before they started writing. One thing I've heard again and again, and even experienced is being so busy writing you don't have time to read. Personally I found that when I don't pleasure read (as opposed to research read) often enough, my passion for writing can wane a bit. What about you? Do you read every day like Stephen King suggests in 'On Writing' or are you more sporadic when writing?
Eden/Eve: I'm always writing—that's been nearly every waking moment for the last several years. I really only read for my critique partners, the writers I mentor each year, and then there's that one hour (or less) at bedtime for my luxury reading. I remember the days when I would devour a novel or two in a week. Now it can take me a month to read anything. But I do read something each day.
What about Genre? What's your favorite genre to read?
Eden/Eve: I'm an old sci-fi fan from way back, and I still love to read it. I also love women's fiction, both serious and comedic. And I've been reading a ton of YA. There are amazing YA authors out there, in all subgenres. I'm really loving the serious contemporaries and some vampires. Genre of the day changes, depending on my mood, but I'm always up for something funny.
What was your favorite childhood, I'm thinking middle school or younger, book?
Eden/Eve: I loved the Narnia tales. I probably read the entire series a good dozen times.
You can have only 1 book with you on a deserted island. Which one do you choose and why?
Eden/Eve: I can't have two?? Okay…it would be Time Enough For Love by Robert Heinlein, for several reasons. It's an old favorite-my comfort book. If I can't sleep or I'm stressed, I'll pull out one of my dog-eared copies and open it to any page. And in that book is romance, adventure, science, comedy, characters I've loved for a lifetime, and even sex, so it satisfies on every level.
What do you think readers would be shocked to discover about you?
Eden/Eve: I'm not sure there's anything left that I haven't shared-lol! Everyone already knows I'm fairly heavily tattooed, am in a relationship with a much younger man, am addicted to shoes and lip gloss, have spent time in the BDSM clubs, love my cats, am a daddy's girl, a huge art geek and am obsessed with anything steampunk. Hmm…maybe it's my shark phobia? Seriously, I can't go in the ocean because I'm deathly afraid a shark will bite my leg off. They've been known to attack in as little as three feet of water, you know! Which doesn't explain why the fear will sometimes creep up on me even in a fresh water lake. And the occasional swimming pool.
Do you believe in soul mates? Does everyone have one?
Eden/Eve: I do believe in soul mates, but not necessarily one for each of us. I think we have a number of possible soul matches out there. I do, however, totally believe in love at first sight.
Do you prefer George Clooney, or Johnny Depp? (I"m going to say Johnny Depp for me because I think roleplaying with him would be oh so wicked.;) )
Eden/Eve: Sasha-do you not know me at all?? It's Johnny, all the way, all the time. Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. And…Johnny. Yep. *girlish sigh*

SS: Public Scene
The band was playing and the heavy beat matched the low level throb in Lara's blood as she moved. The heat of admiring eyes drifted over her skin. There were so many, male and female, all hot with passion that fired her blood.
She'd take one of them home that night. A man. A man with a big cock, plenty of passion and lots of stamina to help chase away the hot dreams of that arrogant egotistical … lawyer.
Large hands rested on her hips and a body brushed against her back. She glanced over her shoulder and winked at the bald college boy who'd moved in to dance with her.
She shouldn't call him a boy, he was probably only younger than her by a year or two, but he wasn't man enough to inspire a stronger title. His excitement and eagerness fairly bled from him as he rubbed his groin against her ass in an effort to be sexy. It might be a little mean of her to tease him, but she couldn't stop herself.
She bent forward at the waist, pressing her hips back against him, and did a bump and grind that had her own body softening, readying itself for action. With a flip of her head, she straightened up, back arched as she rested her head against his shoulder and undulated against him in time with the music.
"You are so fucking hot," he panted in her ear, his hands slipping over the smooth flesh of her belly that was bared by her crop top.
She spun in his arms just as the last notes of the song were struck, and the music faded into the crowd's applause.
The band said they were going to take a short break, and everyone started to drift off the dance floor. It was time to rehydrate.
"Thanks for the dance," she said to the boy, and spun on her heel to leave.
He grabbed her arm, halting her steps. "That's it? Come on, baby. Let's find a dark corner and get to know each other better."
She looked at his hand on her arm before raising her gaze to his. She gave him a look that any smart man would recognize as a warning. College boy wasn't stupid, and he released his grip.
"Yeah," he said with a sneer. "Whatever."
Lara headed for the bar without another word, and immediately spotted the lean blond parked there in leather pants and a snug black t-shirt.
Oh, shit.
Her heart kicked in her chest and every hair on her body stood on end. Karl looked so fucking good her mouth actually started to water. Saliva pooled on her tongue and her pussy clenched in recognition of what it hungered for. She'd been able to resist the lure of his challenge when she only had images of him in a suit and tie in her mind, but this … she had no resistance to the living fantasy in front of her.
Even worse, she wasn't sure she wanted to.
Altering her course slightly she headed straight for him. "Well hello there, sexy. How are you tonight?"
"Feeling pretty good after watching your little show there," he replied. "You move very well, sweetie."
Pleasure swept over her at his compliment and she gave herself a mental kick in the ass. She knew she moved well, she didn't need him to tell her that. Plus, he'd called her sweetie.
Lara eyed him.She realized he was being sincere and that sent a wave of pure desire rushing through her veins. Normally she hated it when men called her sweetie or baby or darlin', or any number of chauvinistic endearments. But Karl's lazily spoken words were different somehow.
"Thanks," she said before smiling at the bartender and asking for a bottle of water.
When he set the water on the bar Karl handed him a bill before she could, and the bartender walked away.
"Thank you, again." She turned to face Karl, stepping closer so that her hip brushed against his leather-clad knee.
She let her eyes roam over him, not bothering to hide the need simmering in her blood. Why should she? She'd made it pretty clear the other night that she wanted him. He'd been the one to walk away.
Remembering that, she shifted, a little unsure exactly how to handle him now. Unsure of how she wanted to handle him now.
As if he could read her thoughts, Karl's lips tilted slightly and the lines around his eyes crinkled, making the small scar that ran through his left eyebrow shift. "You didn't call," he said.
Not wanting to shout in the loud bar, or let him sense her momentary doubts, she shifted closer. When she moved, he spread his knees wider and she automatically filled the spot.
"Why didn't you call?" he repeated.
She arched a brow at him. "Why didn't you call?"
He chuckled. "Because you're the one who needs to decide if you're really willing to do anything at least once."
Would she? Wicked heat zinged from her brain to her sex in answer and she grinned. Payback could be so much fun, sometimes.
"Follow me?" she challenged.
His chocolate eyes darkened and his lips twitched as he stood so they were chest to chest. "Lead the way."
With a little extra swing in her hip, she headed for the back of the pub.
The band was starting up again and they were going against the stream of people heading back to the dance floor. Karl's hand rested on the curve of her hip, the heat of his body close behind her as they passed the mens room, then the ladies room and went straight out the back door.
She'd been antsy and horny before she saw him, but in the past three minutes her body had started to burn from the inside out. Everything in her was centered on having him – he was not going to walk away from her again. She was in control this time.
Karl was all man – all very sexy, very primal man. She might not know exactly what was going on between them, but she did know one thing for sure – she was woman enough to take him on, and revel in it.

SS: Humor.
When I was searching through my archives I was surprised at how hard a hard time I had finding snippets filled with humor. There were plenty of one liners and some sarcasm, but not a lot of funny, so I have to accept that Humor isn't natural to my storytelling voice.
NO ANGEL from the MOST WANTED antholopgy had quite a bit of humor in it, but I used that one before…so I was determined to find another one. ROCK MY WORLD, my story in the Rock & A Hard Place anthology, is part of that same series, and I figured this snippet of sly humor, with some heat, might be nice to share.
For those f you familar with the Psychic Hunter stories started in SEXY DEVIL, you might really enjoy this short one because it features Gina & Caleb, the couple that started the whole series off.
Miranda from Joyfully Reviewedsays "Sasha White sets the pages on fire with passion in Rock My World. The story is a part of her Psychic Hunter series. Rock My World is the perfect title for this story! Gina and Caleb harbor an insane amount of chemistry and is explodes all over the pages. I enjoyed the mysterious part of the story as well. Rock My World is wickedly hot!"

And here's an excerpt for you.
*WARNING: You must be over 18 to read*
The one hour flight to Vancouver was uneventful, despite the fact that Gina was like a little kid—constantly shifting in her seat, playing with the entertainment screen, nibbling on Caleb's ear and teasing him with naughty suggestions in his ear about the mile high club that made his dick throb.
Okay, so that hadn't been like a little kid — more like a naughty lady, but damn he loved her.
She'd strolled into his life and turned his world inside out. Literally, and figuratively. He now knew there was way more going on in the world than he could've ever imagined, and he was full of more love and happiness than any man had a right to. Which was why he'd never complained about her "special" family and friends and the craziness that came along with them. Just because he'd never complained, that didn't mean he wasn't looking forward to some time away from it all, even if it was only a couple of days.
"I told the boys I wanted you all to myself tonight. We won't see them until the gallery opening tomorrow night," she'd said at the airport when he'd asked where Devil, her brother, would pick them up.
"Really?"
She'd winked at him. "Yes, really. Just you and me tonight, babe."
It had been music to his ears. Music that made it very, very difficult to keep his hands off her during the cab ride to the hotel. Christ, she made him feel hotter than a horny teenager.
Tamping down his impatience, Caleb stood in line at the hotel front desk and thought about hockey while Gina sat in a nearby club chair, twirling a piece of purple streaked hair with a finger. Her dark eyes gleamed at him as she crossed her legs, her short skirt flashing a lot of leg.
The line shifted and he stepped up to the desk eagerly. Stating his name, he handed over his credit card and listened with one ear as the prim little desk clerk went through the motions. Gina strolled up and nestled against him, her scent taking over his senses while he listened to the clerk run down the list of hotel amenities.
"It's okay," Gina broke in gently. She flashed a sassy grin at the woman behind the counter. "We don't plan to leave the room often."
The clerk nodded, a new twinkle in her eye. "Room service is available twenty four hours a day."
Caleb struggled to ignore the heat that flashed through him as his card was swiped and handed back to him. He shifted away from Gina's lush little body with the pretense of putting the card back in his wallet. If she rubbed against him one more time he would lose it.
The image of lifting her onto the chest-high reception counter, shoving her skirt aside, and burying his face between her thighs filled his head and he bit back a groan.
As if sensing he was about to break, his little wild woman shifted her stance, cocking a hip and thrusting her breasts out obviously. He had just enough time to think Oh Shit! at the devilish light in her dark eyes before she slid a hand over his taut biceps and spoke loudly. "God, I love your muscles. I can't wait to strip you naked and lick you all over before I ride you like a cowgirl at her first rodeo."
Jaw slack, Caleb just stared at her for a second. Then a hot flush washed up his neck and over his cheeks, and his cock hardened to the point of pain.
Biting the inside of her cheek, Gina took the room key from the grinning front desk attendant and turned on a heel. She took three steps with her hips swinging deliciously before she turned back. "You ready, cowboy?"
He shook himself like a wet dog, and then chuckled as he grabbed the waiting suitcases and started to follow her. "Ready and willing."
They didn't speak in the elevator, and the heat grew between them during the short ride up. Gina used the key to open the door and Caleb followed her into their room.
He closed the door carefully then grabbed his wife and pinned her to it. The last few hours of almost constant teasing had tested his control, and he eagerly let it go.
Gina's lush body cushioned him as he took her mouth in a hungry kiss. Flavor that was all her filled him and he sank into it, nibbling, biting and kissing his way across the exposed skin of her neck and shoulders. He filled his hands with luscious breasts and rocked his hips against hers, trying to get closer. Sharp nails scored up his back as she hooked a leg over his hip and undulated against him.
"Yes," she moaned. "More. I want more, Caleb. Now."
He tugged the collar of her tank top down and growled at the lacy bra that blocked the path of his lips. Eager hands tugged his T-shirt from his jeans as he struggle to undo her bra clasp. Finally, with a frustrated growl, he stepped back and tore the button fly of his jeans open. "Strip."
Clothes flew and flesh was bared as they got naked with a speed that would've been funny if he wasn't so damn anxious to bury himself inside her. When Gina wore nothing but her socks and boots, he couldn't wait any longer.
"Fuck, who knew motorcycle boots could be so damn sexy?" he said as he moved in.
Reaching around, he grabbed her by the ass and lifted. With one hard thrust he was home. Bracing her against the wall, he began to move. Wet heat surrounded his cock, and he fought not to lose it as she wrapped her legs around him and her booted feet bounced against his ass.
"God, yes!" she shouted before sinking her teeth into his shoulder.
The little bit of pain had pleasure shooting to the base of his spine. Burying his face in the crook of her neck, he sucked in air and pumped faster. Heart pounding and blood rocking through his system, Caleb shifted a hand between them to palm a breast and tweak the rigid tip. Pressure built inside him and he pinched at the nipple between his fingers, making Gina gasp and squirm against him. Her cunt rippled over his cock and he groaned. He wouldn't last long.
Pulling out, he set her down and spun her around. "Hands on the door," he commanded as he kicked her feet apart.
As devilish and sassy as ever, Gina flipped her hair and smiled at him over her shoulder. "Yes, sir!"
With a feral grin, he grabbed her hips and slid his cock between her swollen pussy lips, torturing them both. "Are you sassing me, girl?"
"Never."
With a laugh, he entered her again and began a slow and measured pace. "That's my girl."
She arched her back and wiggled her ass against him. Without thinking, he swatted her and she jumped. Her cunt clenched around him and they both groaned.
"God, Caleb. Stop fooling around and fuck me."
"Your wish is my command." Planting his feet and bending his knees, he reached around and cupped her swinging breasts. His hips pumped hard and fast, sliding in and out of her slick heat while she moaned loudly and pushed back against him. Her insides clenched greedily around his cock and his balls tightened, the pressure damming up at the base of his cock until he couldn't hold back any longer. Leaning in, he reached between his wife's thighs and pinched her clit.
Gina screamed, her pussy spasming around his cock as the top blew off his head and the world disappeared in a swirl of sensation. A primal groan of satisfaction roared up from deep inside and echoed through the room, mixing with her moans as she milked every drop from him.

Wrangling
I've been trying to Fast Draft for the first two weeks of August, but it hasn't worked so well for me.
First, let me explain what Fast Drafting is. Basically, it's focusing on getting 20 pages written a day by not allowing yourself to look back, edit, tweak or flesh out your words. It's designed so you can puke out the first draft of a novel in one feel swoop. Normally I love this. It's right up my alley to get things done in a binge fashion, but this time I find that all my characters and ideas are jamming together in my head and on the page.
It's a first for me, and I think it's due to the fact that I've been thinking about these various stories in a vague way for a couple of years. All of them are erotic, and most are connected. The thing is, I've had story ideas simmering, and character profiles growing until I have a good handle on them, but I haven't actually suited the characters to each other in any firm way, and many of them could be great fits.
It's sort of like a big nightclub in my mind, and the characters are all circling each other, the air rife with chemistry and sexual attraction, but nobodies actually hooked up yet. *sigh* Someone has to take charge and tell them who they belong with, and I know that someone is me, but it's not normally the ay I write my stories. Normally I just sort of start writing and the characters take over.
Once they're all sorted out, I think I'll have three solid hot, diverse and emotionally touching novels, and at least 2 more solid and deliciously naughty short stories…but right now I struggling.
I am determined though, that by the ned of this weekend I'll have them corralled and paired up properly…so they can go about all sorts of improper fun.

There are few things more enjoyable than lying naked on a sandy beach under a hot sun. Especially in a foreign country where no one knows me and I'm free do whatever, and whomever, I want.
Kelsey Howard, footloose and fancy free, answerable to no one. That was me.
Being single and adventurous made me the envy of many, and I had to admit, there were times when even I thought my life was blessed.
Cute as a kid, pretty as a girl, and then beautiful as a woman.
I do believe people see that when they look at me. I have to believe it, I've heard it my whole life. And on some days, I can even look in the mirror and see it. The problem is that I don't always feel that way. I have a hole inside that needs to be filled, and despite the fact that I know filling it with food, drinks, and casual sex isn't good, or smart . . . I still do it. I can't stop myself. It's the only way I know to fill that emptiness.
So really? Is it wrong if it makes me feel better? Even if it's just for a little while?
Rising up a bit from my supine position on the beach, my elbows dug comfortably into the sand. I lounged in the heat of the Mediterranean sun and tracked the approach of my companion from behind dark sunglasses. Nope, nothing wrong with it at all.
Ocean water glistened over his bulging muscles as they rippled with every move he made. Hair slicked back and eyes intent on me, he prowled up the beach. Yeah, he was definitely prowling, and I was woman enough to appreciate it.
One of the few things I enjoy in life more than lying on a beach is lying under a well-built man. Both at once was a fantasy I was determined to finally have come true.
Marco was his name, and I'd met him at the hotel bar on my second night here. The all-inclusive resort we were at encouraged hedonistic behavior and after the first night spent watching everyone let loose, I was more than ready for my own sensual adventure. I'd almost given up hope of finding someone I could click with when he'd introduced himself and the sparks flew. Marco had proven to be very adventurous himself – a wonderful choice for my holiday fling.
I took a pull of tequila from the bottle I'd grabbed from the room's mini-bar and a familiar tingle awoke low in my belly. Marco drew closer and I spread my legs a little wider, knowing he wouldn't be able to avoid the temptation I presented.
Sure enough, hunger sparked in his dark eyes and he dropped to his knees at my feet. Large masculine hands cupped my bent knees and slid up my thighs, sending more tingles through my system.
"Hello there, stranger," I said softly.
His teeth flashed in a predatory smile and he began crawling up and over my body until his mouth hovered over mine. "You look good enough to eat," he said.
I looked to the left and saw no one, and then to the right. There was a couple about fifty yards down the beach, roasting themselves on a blanket and minding their own business, so I lifted my arms and pulled him down on top of me. "So what's stopping you?"
He chuckled and kissed me hungrily. He tasted faintly of tequila and saltwater from the ocean, so I opened up and enjoyed the way our tongues rubbed together. The cool friction heated my blood and made my sex clench in anticipation. The nude beach we were on was part of the private resort where anything goes, and in that instant I made the decision to live up to my reputation as a wild child and enjoy every second of it.
I tilted my head back, and Marco took the hint, nuzzling his way down my neck. The sound of waves rhythmically lapping at the shore became an erotic symphony as he cupped my breasts and flicked the jeweled hoops there back and forth.
"So pretty," he crooned. He wrapped his lips around one nipple and sucked hard, his tongue pulling at the piercing.
"Harder," I urged him. A little pain always heightened the pleasure.
He complied and my hips jerked in response. Yes.
I slid my hands into his hair and nudged him lower. Eager to please, Marco slithered down my body until his talented mouth was hovering over my greedy cunt. His hands cupped my ass, lifting me as his tongue came out and flicked the jeweled hoop that pierced the protective hood of my clit. A sigh of pleasure slipped from between my lips and I pressed him closer.
Sometimes fantasies do come true.

The stories BOUND, WATCH ME (in the Kink anthology), TROUBLE,WICKED and MY PREROGATIVE are connected by locations and secondary characters.
"MY PREROGATIVE is the perfect title to explore this intense tale of a naughty woman seeking love, but refusing to settle for the wrong man in her life… Ms. White grasped the concept of a woman's needs and weaved a wonderful tale of realization. MY PREROGATIVE is an insightful and thought provoking page turner that I know you'll enjoy." —NightOwl Romance
4 STARS! "With her newest erotic romance, White proves again that she's a force to be reckoned with. It continues White's tales of love and lust in Vancouver. In Kelsey, the author has created a mature, fully developed character who is unapologetic about her sexuality and desires but is vulnerable in her desire to find a soul mate. While this book is a stand-alone, it is loosely related to White's previous titles Bound, Trouble and Wicked." — RT BOOKreviews
"Sasha White keeps her characters real and her storyline true with plenty of hot-n-steamy, I-need-a-fan kind of relationships. Her books are always fun and exciting, and this one is no different. I loved it!!" —Fresh Fiction.com
"Watching Kelsey go from throwing men away like used tissues to falling (against her will) for a strong hero like Harlan was a joy to read. I liked MY PREROGATIVE because it wasn't your typical love story. There was no boy meets girl here; it was boy watches girl from afar and voyeuristic girl loves it! If you like erotic romance that's not afraid to take a few risks, you'll love MY PREROGATIVE." —RomanceJunkies.com

Do you wanna?
I think Trace Adkins is so hawt. And my current hero has his deep panty-melting voice. Yes, he does. And he knows how to use it to his advantage.

It's about time, Ms.Walker.
I have been waiting for uber-talented Shiloh Walker to do another suspense book like this. I enjoy all of Shiloh's work, but The Missing is my all time Favorite. It just hit me in the right place, y'know? That said, I'm completely stoked about The Departed.

A LIFELONG OBSESSION
FBI Special Agent Taylor Jones has made it his mission to save those in harm's way by any means necessary—including employing psychic agents like Desiree "Dez" Lincoln, who can communicate with the disembodied spirits of the dead. Taylor is haunted by his own ghost, his kid sister, gone missing at age six. For a quarter of a century he has been tortured by her loss and the mystery of her disappearance.
A NIGHT'S INDISCRETION
When Dez is seriously wounded, Taylor can no longer hide his feelings for her. Getting involved could spell disaster for both of them—not to mention those who rely on them for help—but once Dez lays her hands on him, he can't resist the fierce attraction. But after giving in to his desires, Taylor pulls back, and Dez strikes out on her own.
AN INESCAPABLE PASSION
Responding to the call of another anguished spirit, Dez is led to Taylor's old hometown. As the two are forced to come together to save a girl in peril, Dez may be able to help Taylor finally find the answers he's been looking for…

Sunday Bits.
"You must have long term goals to keep you from being frustrated by short term failures."~
Charles C. Noble
This is something I have to remind myself of everyday, because it seems like everyday I accomplish some of my goals, but not all of them. This past week has not been a good one for my health challenges. I'm doing better than I was 2 months ago, but not better than I was 2 weeks ago.
With the writing I'm doing worse than I was 2 months ago, but am getting better.
It's all about motivation, goals, and time management.
Plans for a few things are coming together, and soon I hope to share some news with you, but let's face it, this industry is slow moving, so chances are small news will be soon. I guess that means you'll just have to keep checking in with me regularly. :)
Enjoy your Sunday!
