EPIC Award Winner!!!

I'm delighted to announce that THE MERUK EPISODES 1-5 WON in the Anthology category of the 2010 EPIC Awards.

The ceremony took place last night in New Orleans, at the final activities of EPICon 2010.

THE MERUK EPISODES 1-5 tie into my Commonwealth Universe novel HOVEN QUEST, about a race of shapeshifters using an adventure series in Tri-V (futuristic television!) to make contact with other shapeshifters living in hiding. Meruk is the name of the character in that adventure series, and THE MERUK...

BEST READ THIS WEEKEND -- POLL.

The Long and the Short of It romance reviews has a weekend poll -- to find out which book or story sounds like the best read based on their reviews. The winning author gets a nifty button and the privilege of having their book or story featured at the top of that page the entire next week!

TWO of my Tabor Heights stories, "Common Grounds" (September 2009) and "The Family Way (February 2010) were reviewed by LASR this week and are up for Book of the Week honor this weekend (voting runs from Sat...

Snow, Snow, Snow -- No!

Aarrggh!!

Are you as tired of this winter as I am?

For a while there, it seemed like every morning, I got up and looked out the window, and there was MORE of that dratted white stuff drifting down.

Thank You, Lord, I don't have to commute to work anymore. Taking the bus was better than driving -- I could work on my computer or read on the bus, and if I was late I could blame the bus and traffic. But still .... *sigh*

The thing is, do I really have any right to complain? I have a lot to be gratefu...

New Tabor Heights Book -- and a Good Cause to Support

Today, Desert Breeze Publishing has released my 4th Tabor Heights, Ohio novel.

THE FAMILY WAY

Lisa Montgomery is pregnant, but that happy announcement turns into the trigger that reveals the shaky state of her marriage to Todd. Thanks to his judgmental, domineering father's influence, Todd's first words are, "Is it mine?"

As the situation spirals downward, Lisa learns some cruel family secrets. When Todd's own sisters urge her to leave him, for the sake of the baby and her own mind, Lisa has som...

New Cover art -- Volume 2, coming soon!

Today's new cover art is for "The Meruk Episodes, I-V."

The Meruk Episodes are the episodes of the Tri-V action/adventure show that my characters in "Hoven Quest" produce on an alien planet.

"The Meruk Episodes, I-V" is a finalist in this year's EPIC Award competition. I won't be able to go to New Orleans for EPICon this year, but I promise you'll be the first to know if I win!

Isn't this great cover art? Courtesy, once again, of Laura Shinn!

And, for those of you who like visiting my Commonwealt...

New SUNSINGER cover art

This stuff is so cool. New look, new covers, and continuity.

I'm so stoked over what Laura Shinn and Sandy Cummins over at Writers Exchange are doing with the "look" of my Commonwealth books.

Check out the new cover art for Sunsinger, Book #1 of the Sunsinger series:

Now, just glancing at the covers, you know what universe the book belongs to, and you have a good idea of what period in Commonwealth history the book takes place in.

Check back here for more new cover art in the following days and w...

The Family Way -- February release from Desert Breeze

Coming February 1, a new Tabor Heights, Ohio novel from Desert Breeze Publishing: www.desertbreezepublishing.com

Lisa Montgomery is "in the family way," but her joy is cut short when her father-in-law's domineering, suspicious nature influences her husband, and what should have been the happiest time in their marriage becomes a time of trials and testing and heartache.

Can she break free of the Montgomery family "way" and save her marriage and her heart?

Making the (e-book) World a More Beautiful Place

I'm so excited!

Writers Exchange, the publisher of most of my Commonwealth Universe books, is re-doing all the cover art for my books. Everything looks so cool, so modern and gorgeous! And uniform! Now, just looking at the covers, you can tell which books belong in which series. Check out the Readers Eden site -- www.readerseden.com

We're also "neatening up" the listing of Commonwealth history, so you can tell what part of history the books belong in.

Coming soon:

The Meruk Episodes #6-10
