XanderFinley, the head lawyer, is a friend of Joan. The clinic is already supportedby the Arc Foundation, so Arc is simply expanding its support.

 

But then Anne is carjacked, and her guard dog, Argus, isshot. Off balance, worried about Argus, and wearing borrowed clothes, thingskeep getting worse. Face-to-face with someone from her painful past and feelingantagonism from Xander's employees, Anne stumbles into one problem afteranother. Her frustration grows when allies became enemies, and she is accusedof entrapment and then attempted murder. How come prayer is her last resort,when it should have been her first reaction to every problem?

Her newest release, Game On, coming next week continues her growing collection of novels about superheroes, supervillains, reformation, adolescent and teen superheroes (and possible supervillains) and dealing with superpowers. Oh, yeah, and some fun romance.

With several intertwined storylines, she has 19 (NINETEEN!) books, and an upcoming anthology of stories set in that universe, written with other friends who love superheroes.
