At 26 I got tired of working crap jobs with a college degree.

Someone else posted an Employment Wanted ad in the Seattle Times that said something like

New to Seattle. Need a job. Call me…

Seriously? It was the only ad in that section. No competition. …Light bulb.

By the next week I pulled together $111, posted this ad and watched it kick my life into high gear.

Three people responded. I went with the one I was sure would make me a millionaire.

It was the accidental beginning of being slung-shot out of the narrative,

moving into a Honda Civic for over two years and living this life as a poet.
