My first Christmas novella and I am extremely excited. Readers who have read it in advance LOVED it!

Love True Crimes!

Nothing gets my creative juices flowing like a good crime story. I am an Investigation Discovery channel addict so true crime is without a doubt my favorite genre.

I read at least three or four true crime books each month. One of my favorite authors is M. William Phelps. I am currently reading his Perfect Poison and have several more of his books on order.

For crime fiction, James Patterson, Walter Mosely, Carl Weber, and Mary Higgins Clark rule!


There is a lot of criminal activity in my fiction novels and I confess that I get some of my ideas from the true
crimes stories I read about and see on TV.

I have read and enjoyed all of Mitch Albom's books. This one is just as wonderful as the others. So far, my favorite is Tuesdays With Morrie and The First Phone Call from Heaven is next.

I get so carried away when I'm working on a project, I actually talk to the characters. Sometimes I even scold them. The walls in my apartment building are thin so I know my neighbors can hear my one-sided conversations...

I also get carried away when I reading books by some of my favorite authors. Just this morning, I "cussed out" the main character in "If Your Wife Only Knew" by Cydney Rax
