My Gift to You: Free – The Princess, the Pea and the Night of Passion

01_The-Princess-the-Pea-&the-Night-of-Passion_reducedDecember is a month of giving. With Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa (sometimes even Eid) all falling within the month, there’s usually a lot of giving going on.

I thought I’d follow that trend and offer a free gift to my readers. I’m making The Princess, the Pea and the Night of Passion ebook FREE for an entire month (Dec. 8-Jan. 8; maybe longer).  If you haven’t read it yet, go ahead and grab it. The Princess, the Pea and the Night of Passion is the first book in the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales series. While it’s the shortest book, it’s also a lot of fun. The remaining two books are longer, and I hope you’ll give them a try.

You can find The Princess, the Pea and the Night of Passion FREE at the following retailers (please note: the book is free on the US Amazon site. I am requesting it’s free listing on foreign sites. If you are in a country outside the US, please tell Amazon you would like the book free, and point to any of the retailers below).

Excited – Cinders & Ash paperback came in the mail

Super excited today, as my paperback of Cinders & Ash arrived in the mail.

I tried something new this time. Normally, I upload the complete cover to the printing company, including the spine. This time, I let them put the spine on, and it worked out quite well, so I was happy. Just a couple of shots of the lovely book, which comes in at 219 pages.

This is the spine they created. Looks good.

Cinders & Ash Available Today! (And at a Discount)

03_Cinders-and-AshThe newest book in the Passion-Filled Fairy Tale series launched today on Amazon. Cinders & Ash: A Cinderella Story is available now.  I’m so excited, as the book was a real fun one to write, and took a bit more imagination to add passion to, because in the original tale, our couple doesn’t meet until the night of the prince’s ball.

For the first week it’s out, the book will sell for $2.99. This is a dollar discount, as the normal selling price will be $3.99. This book is longer than the previous two books, as it’s a full-length novel. Amazon’s ebook calculation tool clocks it at 210 pages, but the paper back is actually 230 pages. So, $2.99 is a great price for those who want to grab it early.

I made an effort to get the paperback out at the same time as the ebook, for anyone who still loves paper.

Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this imaginative retelling of the fairy tale. Readers who received Advance Review Copies have already posted some reviews on Goodreads, and it’s averaging 4.3 stars at the moment.

I will be posting a couple more bits of fun news later this month. I didn’t post much in November because I was trying National Novel Writing Month (where you attempt to write 50,000 words in one month). So, that was a busy time. But I’m psyched about Cinders & Ash and the remainder of December. Here’s the Cinders & Ash book description:

Ella would like nothing more than to leave her wicked stepmother and spoiled stepsisters behind. Only, she needs money to do so. The young lass secretly works for a local shopkeeper to earn cash, until her stepmother, Lady Kenna, finds out. Lady Kenna gets her stepdaughter fired, beats her, and takes all the cash the girl has earned thus far. Ella hears of a secret job at the castle providing companionship to a visiting relative of the royal family. Desperate to get away from her stepfamily, Ella consents.

Ash is a prince confined to a castle. The queen is convinced magic fairies are real and are out to do her son harm. That doesn’t stop the young prince from having ladies delivered for his pleasure. When a beautiful maiden is brought to him one evening, he’s completely intrigued: by her beauty, by her demeanor and by the fact that she’ll only give her name as Cinders.

In this steamy retelling of the Cinderella story, Cinders & Ash find love, romance and a fairy tale happy ending.

Get all four Romance: Trysts shorts in one collection. Trysts are always short, sexy and scintillating. Sometimes they’re sweet and sometimes they’re downright sinful. (Below is an abbreviated description. Click the title if you want a fuller description of each story.)

Tryst No. 1: Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn. Mrs. Sinn seeks out a sexy doctor to assist with her heart palpitations, and the two heat up the exam table.

Tryst No. 2: Nikki & Mike. After a needed breakup from bad boyfriend, good girl Nikki decides to be good to herself, and has a sexy time with farm boy Mike.

Tryst No. 3: Tristan & Blair. Tristan thought he met the girl of his dreams years ago, but was that lovely lady the girl of his dreams, or is he destined for someone else? Find out in this sweet, sexy tale.

Tryst No. 4: Jack & Brenda. Firefighter Jack is a man who wants love but hasn’t had time to find it. When a snow storm brings Brenda to his doorstep, the two connect in ways that sizzle and spark.

While this title is only available at Amazon, it is not in the Kindle Unlimited program. Tryst No. 4 is currently exclusive to Kindle and in the Kindle Unlimited program. Once Tryst No. 4’s exclusivity expires in November, the collection will be available at other platforms.

Nikki and Mike available at several retailers now.

trysts2nikkiandmikeContrastJust a quick note to let you know that Romance: Tryst No. 2 Nikki & Mike has moved out of Kindle Unlimited and is now at several retailers, including Kobo, Barnes & Noble and Apple.  The book is just 99 cents, and is the second book in the Romance: Trysts series. Book one in the series, Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn, is free on all platforms.

The book had been exclusively at Amazon so it could be part of the Kindle Unlimited program, but the Romance: Trysts series isn’t thriving there, so I’m going to move the entire thing out, as the 90-day Select term ends. I’m also going to be creating a compilation of all 4 books in the series that will be cheaper than buying the three separately. Look for the compilation to be completed by the end of the month.

Revamped Covers for Passion-Filled Fairy Tales

Bonjour! Hope you’ve had a great weekend. It’s a new month, so I thought I’d start it off by introducing the new covers (one new, and two revamped, actually) for my Passion-Filled Fairy Tales series.

I designed the original covers myself and perhaps that was to my detriment.  I asked a cover artist what she thought and if she thought she’d be able to design something that might work better. The artist actually liked the original models and thought just a bit of spice might improve the covers. So, I’ve revamped the covers of the first two books in the series, and got covers for books three and four and that fit in line with it.

I thought I’d introduce folks today to the two revamped covers, as well as the cover and title for Book 3 in the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales series, which is Cinders & Ash: A Cinderella Story.

Read from June 19 to 20, 2015 — I own a copy

Synopsis: If you enjoy a hot and steamy romantic fairy tale, then this retelling of Beauty and the Beast is for you.

In this grown up version of Beauty and the Beast, we meet Beauty, a sheltered young girl living in the French countryside with her father. She doesn’t get out much, but her tutor has given her books that she is supposed to read privately. The books all have a rose imprinted on the cover and describe the ways in which men and women love each other. The books give Beauty ideas about pleasures of the flesh.

Just like in the traditional tale, Beauty’s father, Pierre, sets off on a journey and ends up taking refuge in an enchanted dwelling. Pierre takes a rose-covered book, like the ones his daughter reads, and is caught by the beast…

Tryst No. 4 is Here!

trysts4jackandbrenda_reducedHappy Tuesday to you. I just wanted to let you all know that Tryst No. 4, Jack & Brenda, has arrived.

I’m so glad it’s finally out there. It’s another fun, short tale.

Unfortunately, I’m having some wrist issues at the moment that prevent me from typing too much. So, I’m pretty certain that’s going to delay the publication of my Cinderella story (part of the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales series).  But, hopefully not by too much. I’m already working on covers for it, so I won’t have to do that, too, once I’m able to type for longer stretches.

Anyway, that’s all I’m going to write for today, so I don’t overtax my wrists. Have a great rest of the week.  I’m copying and pasting the book description below.

Jack & Brenda

Jack is a firefighter, who’s a man down at his station due to a massive snow storm. Alone, pondering the evening when he hears a knock on the fire house door.

Brenda is a nurse trying to get to her shift whose car goes kaput outside the fire station.

Jack offers to warm Brenda up and things smoke for the firefighter who has a thing for pretty feet and the nurse who’s in need of some TLC.

Only on Amazon. FREE for Kindle Unlimited Subscribers; 99 cents for others.
