A firefighter with a foot fetish?
Just thought I’d check in with a quick cover reveal.
I’m finalizing the fourth short in the Trysts series. This one, Jack and Brenda, focuses on Jack, the firefighter, who ends up helping a stranded nurse, Brenda. I go a little quirky here, as Jack has a thing for feet. This one, like the others, is a lot of fun and fully of sexy. And of course, it’s short. Hoping to get this one out to you guys by the 15th.
In the meantime, here’s the cover.
Also, as a quick note, I’ll have some good news later this week, I hope. I pulled Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn from the Kindle Unlimited program last week. As I’d mentioned in a previous post, the program is undergoing some changes, and I’m still trying to figure things out. As such, I wanted to try Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn as an introductory short to the series, and expand it to distribution at other sites. Unfortunately, it’s not getting to those sites as quickly as I had hoped. I uploaded it to the distributor on Sunday night, but and it hasn’t shown up on either the Nook, Kobo or Apple sites. :( Not sure what the delay is, but I’ll write a quick post once the book goes live at those sites and I get the links. Of course, the good news part is the price for this introductory short. If you’d like a hint, check out Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn over at the Google Play Store (which uploaded immediately). It will be that price at the other stores once it’s uploaded. It’s not that price at Amazon yet, but I’ll talk more about that in my later post.
That’s it for today. Have a happy hump day.

Dr. Carter and Mrs. Sinn Free through Friday
Appropos to the day, I’ve decided to make the first short in the Romance: Trysts series free June 24-26. It’s a great introduction to the series, even though it’s a bit shorter than the remainder stories in the series.
Romance: Trysts are all fun, flirty and sexy. I’m putting the book trailer below and you’re welcome to pick up the book FREE from Amazon over the next couple of days. I hope you’ll go ahead and check out the remaining shorts in the series, too.

Tryst No. 3 – Tristan and Blair — has arrived
Happy Thursday to you. Just a quick note to let you know that the third book in the Trysts series is out. I published Romance: Trysts No. 3 – Tristan and Blair today
I must say, this is probably my absolute favorite of this series so far. With any luck, you guys will love it as much as I do. I’ve written the fourth book in the series, and I’m going to take a couple of weeks to get it into tip-top shape before publishing it. I also have to create a cover. My goal is to put No. 4 out that first week of July. I initially called it Felicia & Jack, but I think I’m opting for Jack & Ginger, instead. The fifth book is the series is called Felicity & Oliver, and I thought the two F-heroines in a row would look odd.
Anyway, I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. I’m going to actually take a break for the weekend because my children will finally be out of school and I need some time to decompress.
Tata for now.
May your love stay in bloom,
RB

So How Many of You Use Kindle Unlimited?
Happy Wednesday to you. I’ve got a lot on my plate today as I’ve got to take my daughter to the dentist to get a couple of baby teeth pulled. The adult one came in behind where it’s supposed to be, which means it didn’t push the baby teeth out. So, that means a pulling so the adult tooth has a spot to slide into. While it’s good for the adult tooth, feeling sad for the baby teeth. :(
Anyway, this week Amazon announced some changes for authors whose books are in the Kindle Unlimited program. Because it’s not clear how the changes will work, I’m considering pulling some titles from the program. But, I’m wondering how much you guys use it. Yes, I get some borrows, but I get sales, too. Does being in KU matter on no?
As an aside, I put off the Tristan & Blair edits a little because I’m still up in the air about whether to enroll it in KU. I plan to finish going over the edits tonight and get it published soon.

Tristan and Blair is coming …
I sent Romance: Trysts No. 3 – Tristan & Blair off to the editor a couple of days ago. It should be back in my sweet hands on Tuesday and published by the end of the week.
So, the first three will be available by the end of the week. I’m super excited.
If you enjoyed Nikki & Mike, I’m sure you’ll love Tristan & Blair. This is my favorite story in the series so far. I’ll post the blurb on Wednesday.
That’s it for now.

Romance: Trysts No. 2 – Nikki and Mike is available!
The second book in the Romance: Trysts series published last night. I want to thank those who already checked it out. I published it last night on Amazon, mentioned it on a couple of Goodreads groups, and woke up this morning to several borrows and a sale. So, WooHoo! The book is an Amazon exclusive at the moment and available for FREE borrow if you’re in Amazon Prime or Kindle Unlimited. It sells for 99 cents, if you’re not able to borrow it.
Trysts are short, sexy, scintillating stories that have a happy ever after or happy for now ending. Each story is individual, but characters from previous trysts appeaer in other ones. Porter is a character in Nikki & Mike, and we’ll see him again in Tryst No. 6: Felicity & Oliver. Marissa, whom we saw in Tryst No. 1, we’ll see again, briefly in Tryst No. 3. Anyway. Here’s a description of Nikki & Mike.
Nikki is a good girl who tries to follow the straight and narrow path. But, when a breakup turns her life haywire, Nikki decides it’s time not just to be good, but to be good to herself.
Enter Mike, a handsome stranger with farm boy charms and a rocking body. Can he give Nikki what she’s been missing recently?
In this hot and steamy tale, Mike and Nikki find each other and a little something else, too.
You can borrow (if in KU or Amazon Prime) or buy Romance:Trysts No. 2 – Nikki and Mike on Amazon.

New Reviews!
Beauty and Her Beastly Love received a great review over on Big Als and Pals blog.
Here’s a quote from the review:
“I think I enjoyed this one even more than The Princess and the Pea, and I really loved it. This retelling stays pretty close to the original version of Beauty and the Beast, however it is the added story that makes it so great.”
Isn’t that lovely? I’m just pleased as punch.
Also, Romance: Trysts No. 1 received it’s first review. Four stars and lovely. It’s on Amazon.
On a final note, The Princess, the Pea and the Night of Passion is no longer exclusive to Amazon. I’m trying it on Barnes & Noble, Kobo and Apple for the next few weeks to see how it fares (should be at all venues by Tuesday, June 2). If I find I don’t really sell anything in those other venues, I’ll return the book to Kindle exclusivity, which allows it to participate in the Kindle Unlimited program.

Romance: Trysts have begun
Happy Tuesday to you all. I hope you had a great holiday weekend. Mine was fun and filled with travel. Heard the most awesome true love story ever. Really. A friend in her late 70s happened to tell us the story of the first time she saw her husband ( he was older than her, so she was just 13 at the time) and she told her twin sister that he was the handsomest man she’d ever seen. He had wavy blond hair, blue eyes, and a gray shirt and blue jeans. It was amazing the detail she remembered (they were married 40+ years; and he died more than a decade ago). Every time she speaks of him, her face just lights up. True love. In real life. That is lovely, I think. Anyway, that may have planted a seed in my mind for a story.
I just thought I’d formally announce that the Trysts series I mentioned earlier is out, at least the first installment. These stories tend to be more erotic in nature than my other series, but still have the air of romance about them. The first in the series, Dr. Carter and Mrs. Sinn is a touch shorter than the others, which is why I thought I’d start the series with it. Though, it’s not as romantic as the others, so maybe it wasn’t a good choice. (I hate second-guessing myself).
Anyway, the plan is to release one every two to three weeks. The next two in the series are completed, and undergoing some edits now. I hope to have Tryst No. 2, Nikki and Mike up and out in early June. This is a great series for Kindle Unlimited subscribers, because it’s several short, quick reads that should leave you smiling satisfactorily when they’re over. (You may even want a cigarette ;) ). I made a book trailer for Dr. Carter & Mrs. Sinn. I’ll stick that at the end. Also, a quick note that Beauty and Her Beastly Love is on sale, for just 99 cents this week. It’s part of a Kindle Countdown Deal so the price will tick back up on its ow accord at week’s end.

Seeking some thoughts on covers
Howdy there. I’ve been getting into the swing of things lately and trying to write more. I know I’m supposed to be finished with my Cinderella story, but I must admit, that tale has derailed, and I’m trying to figure out how to get it back on track. It’s the fairy tale that diverges the furthest from the original, so I’m struggling a bit with it.
As such, I’ve put it on the backburner while I work on some erotic shorts. They’re pretty simple things, a series I’m tentatively calling Romance: Trysts. I’m curious if I’m going the right way on the covers. Here are my first attempts at the first three in the series (I have a first draft written for each, and have writte half of the fourth in the series). I’m not entirely sure how many I want to do in the series, but I have been fun writing them. They all stand alone, but they’re connected in theme. They’re all a slice of romance that involves physical intimacy. Any thoughts based on the covers.
