He nibbled down her neck, sucking on her collarbone until she was a trembling mess in his arms, only the firm grip of his arm, which had, at some point, moved around her waist, held her jelly-like legs up at all.
Suddenly he lifted his head, meeting her gaze, his blue eyes a deeper than normal shade. “Think about that when you remember the perfectly nice guy waiting for you in London.” He set her firmly on her feet, waited until she was steady, until she could hold herself up without the dizzying assault on her senses affecting her.

Ethan had insisted on going back to work almost immediately, so for the rest of the family and their employees, life went on as usual. Except for Sebastian, who now had to deal with Ashley being around, at the office and at his brother’s apartment, a constant fixture, taking care of Ethan.
She brought him homemade muffins and Starbucks in the morning, made sure he ate lunch in the afternoons, and the nights Sebastian or his siblings showed up with dinner for Ethan, Ashley was there, her fitted but obviously expensive dresses hugging her body, her warm vanilla scent permeating the air. If he thought she was a temptation when he was younger, she was even more of an enticement now.
Except now she didn’t give him the time of day and it pissed him off. He wasn’t a bad guy and they’d both had a role in getting caught together.
So what was her problem with him?

I hope those of you who celebrated had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Mine was full of family and food. Here’s a pic of me and my girls! The dogs were at the kennel because Tony was sick and I was getting some help with him and his meds, but they’re home and I’m hoping he’s better. We’ll have to keep an eye out. But this week I’m happy to get back to work.

Do I have news for you! You know I’m always honest with you and although I had recently redone my website, it wasn’t me. My logo wasn’t me. Nothing was pink. And I wasn’t happy. I decided to redo the site and logo yet again and this time it completely reflects who I am as a writer and a person and I think and hope it’s how you see me. So today I’m launching the all-new www.carlyphillips.com and the newsletter with my brand new logo. I hope you guys love it as much as I do. All I can do is keep pulling up the site and just staring because I think it’s so pretty! I want you guys to check it out, to look at every page.
