Not a sure shot formula, but I watch a lot of different movies. I must clarify, this doesn't mean that I watch the movies to copy portions from them. Watching a good movie is like exercising your brain, dealing with new concepts wakes up some dozing nerves. Seeing a story take a specific direction might just spark a new idea in your mind. Try it.

The power of creation.
The feeling that all these new ideas come to your head and when you pen them, they turn into interesting stories that some people may love to dive into... it's awesome.

Well, let me be honest, it's hard guys. After Chetan Bhagat, everyone aspires to become a writer. If you manage to write something interesting, that's just the first step. You need a renowned publisher, and chances are you may not get any. You need good publicity, otherwise your masterpiece will end up spending in the shelf all its life.
That being said, if you really like writing, if you feel it comes naturally to you and you have a story to tell, don't let anything stop you. Lot of writers impress big publishers with their stories. And if nothing else works, there's always self-publishing, Facebook/Twitter and thousands of your online buddies.
Most importantly, be original, don't go for a formula... write what you feel like writing.

Well, I have a bad habit of switching between multiple stories, because a new idea might have come to me while writing something else.
I am currently working on a horror-comedy that also focuses on the unusual depth of the usual stereotypes. I have also started a futuristic sci-fi thriller and a fantasy story with a twist in popular fairy tales.
Finally, I am always thinking of a sequel and a prequel for Blood Rush.

That's hard to answer. It just comes to me, I guess. There is no process that I follow to get inspired - I just feel like writing at times and these ideas hit me, that's when I write.

I always fancied the concept of an underdog, of a person who had never realized how special he is. I know it's not a unique concept; it's been used in hundreds of novels and movies, specially my 2 favorite movies - Matrix and Wanted. So, in a way, I am inspired by them. But another main idea of the book is also to have a very unique Indian origin and mythology of vigilantism, which I believe has not been done a lot.
