I would travel to Pern and ride a dragon. It was the first fantasy world that sucked me in enough to make me want to create a world and write too. Besides, flying a dragon would be epic.

I'm currently writing a short story for members of The Conspiracy (mailing list), editing/revising The Silent Frontier, and writing the sequel to Amaskan's Blood.

The beginnings of Amaskan's Blood came from a dream I had involving twins--one sister was royalty and the other, an assassin. The dream itself wasn't very good, but the core of it stuck with me. Over a few years, the concept evolved into the first draft. It was the first novel I ever pantsed (I'm a planner when I write vs. flying by the seat of my pants) and needed major revision before I felt the plot settled enough.
