N.D. Jackson Yes, absolutely! I'm just not sure who's story I want to tell next or who will end up with Burke!
N.D. Jackson Creating worlds and people and getting lost in them. I spent much of my youth getting lost in worlds created by others and now I get to do the same. I'm paying it forward.
N.D. Jackson My go to answers usually involve Fools Gold or Lucky Harbor because I still re-read most of both series when the mood strikes or I find myself in a reading slump. But recently I've been on a Sapphire Falls kick so I'm sticking with that for now. I would go ogle all the hot farm guys and maybe open up a little specialty eatery where all the girls gathered to vent while they were falling in love.
N.D. Jackson That's a tough question. Of course I want to say Elizabeth & Mr. Darcybut that's kind of cliche, right? Then I thought that Morgan & Penelope (Criminal Minds) was a great couple who isn't a couple but might as well be a couple, but...no.

I'm going for Beatrice & Benedict in Much Ado About Nothing. They were two quick witted people perfectly happy to be single despite all the love around them. I love that snarky bickering they did, which was just flirting. And rather than one of them pining for the other, they both were as invested in the other person as they were in denial about their feelings.

Not only is it a great story but their unconventional love story is funny and memorable.
N.D. Jackson The short answer is music and cooking. I'll throw on some Classic Rock and whip up a German chocolate cake or Adele while I make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and just rock out.
Focusing on something other than what has me blocked is the best way to get un-blocked. Usually it is music & cooking but sometimes I get inspiration by watching TV or people watching. Stepping away from the stress of writer's block generally allows you to un-block those creative juices aching to get out.
N.D. Jackson My current work in progress is part of a series of novellas. They are standalone stories but they are interconnected. It is tentatively titled Rebel Girlz because each heroine is from a small town in Georgia and they are all going against expectations when it comes to love and life.
N.D. Jackson I'm always drawn to female friendships and just how unique they are. That lead to me Alex & Shellie's friendship and how they'd cope with falling in love. Alex is a tougher nut than Shellie so I had to find a man worthy of her and strong enough to sale her wall.
