(Also writes under the pen name Natasha Jackson).

Hey I'm Natasha and I love stories. I love to read them, to watch them and most of all I love to wrtie them. I find people endlessly fascinating and frustrating, which makes for the most interesting stories!

I also love politics and true crime so in addition to writing romance, I also write political satire & thrillers. It has been my dream to make a living as a writer since I was a kid and got lost in Judy Blume, The Babysitter's Club and Sweet Valley High (is my age showing?!?!). When I'm not writing I can be found engaging in one-sided conversations with Rachel Maddow, singing very loudly very badly and trying out new cuisines from around the world.

I love to laugh, I gave my husband a sapp

I'll throw on some Classic Rock and whip up a German chocolate cake or Adele while I make peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and just rock out.
Focusing on something other than what has me blocked is the best way to get un-blocked. Usually it is music & cooking but sometimes I get inspiration by watching TV or people watching. Stepping away from the stress of writer's block generally allows you to un-block those creative juices aching to get out. (less)

It is tentatively titled Rebel Girlz because each heroine is from a small town in Georgia and they are all going against expectations when it comes to love and life. (less)

Different Seasons by Stephen King
“Speech destroys the functions of love, I think—that’s a hell of a thing for a writer to say, I guess, but I believe it to be true. If you speak to tell a deer you mean it no harm, it glides away with a single flip of its tail. The word is the harm. Love isn’t what these asshole poets like McKuen want you to think it is. Love has teeth; they bite; the wounds never close. No word, no combination of words, can close those lovebites. It’s the other way around, that’s the joke. If those wounds dry up, the words die with them. Take it from me. I’ve made my life from the words, and I know that is so.”

Let It Be Me is a cute story about a (slightly) older woman and hot young (ish) firefighter who falls for her. But this isn't a quick, love at first sight kind of story, no it's a slow burn that starts with a friendship. Caleb meets Emerson on the wo ...more

I found this an easy story to read. Mostly. Ellie is a little hard to like and hard to root for but it works in the context of the story and I guess, as a way to lighten up the topic of caring about the environment and climate change.

It Was (Only) A Kiss by Stefanie London
