Who is your favorite fictional couple, and why?

Rolando F. Calzada My favorite fictional couple are Romeo and Juliet. I guess I'm just an old romantic. Even in death love conquers all.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Rolando F. Calzada The best advice that I can give an aspiring author is...study your craft, evolve to be the best writer that you can be. Writing is like fine wine...it matures and blossoms. The older the vintage the more appropriate the prose.

What are you currently working on?

Rolando F. Calzada I just finished, "We Survive" and I'm currently working on "Bloodlust" and "Lead System". I earlier gave a glimpse of "We Survive", now, I'll introduce, "Bloodlust". The skeleton-like, rusted metal guts from mattresses, tied in tandem, made-up the makeshift fences that delineated boundaries between yards. The toilet was merely a hole in the ground, behind the house, obstruct from view by whatever was available. Not far off, the snarl of mongrel dogs, ripping away at the scavenged remains of chicken innards helped to complete a poignant quilt.
