Hi Kristina!
Dark Legacy is available paperback now on Amazon. As of right now, I am running a market test and am publishing this exclusively on Amazon which enrolls me in their KDP program. Depending on the response, that will determine if I will publish Dark Legacy on Nook and Kobo.
Great question and thank you for following up! I have been getting great response so far so please tell me what you think!
If you have any problem ordering, send me an email directly and I will ship a paperback to you!

The storyline for Dark Hollow actually took shape from what was originally a fantasy novel. I had written that book almost to completion when I realized that I wasn't loving it. When I decided to change the premise and put in the challenge of a heroine from our world trying to solve the riddles of an unknown world, the story just flowed.
Originally, the twists and turns were not all there, I start a book with a general framework but I do not always keep to it because situations arise with the characters that send me in a different direction.
It seems strange to admit that my own fictional creation does truly develop a life of its own and sometimes, things develop that I need to incorporate into the story!

Books 2 and 3 of the Hidden Heritage series. Both are mostly written but they are in re-write and edit form right now.
I tend to change things and add and delete scenes as I do these final re-writes. Quite frankly, i am looking forward to how book 2 will emerge when it is done!

Read and write as often as possible. My writing has evolved over the years and I find that the expression changes as I change my writing ability.
I read everyday and I love to read. Once I have finished a book that I truly love, I will read it again and really focus on how the author conveys imagery and how the narrative flows.
It is a constant learning process but always remember to find your own voice. Every author has their distinct way to speaking to the reader.

I have quit writing a hundred times. It is so frustrating and so fulfilling and it is truly a compulsion. Regardless of how I feel on a day-to-day basis, and that changes often, it is truly something that I feel compelled to do.
I absolutely love the art of writing and the flow of words and how a whole story can flow from me. It is a wonderful feeling.
I have so many stories in me just bursting to get out!

Writer's block is a pretty common occurrence. I have a couple of solutions when I feel like I am stuck in a scene.
1. I re-read and edit past pages. When I cannot seem to get the muse in gear for what happens next, by reviewing what I have recently read and stay moving on edits, I can at least feel as though I am not wasting time.
2. Ideas are all around us. TV shows, other books, articles and people all are inspiration. When an idea strikes me, it is often inspired from something I have recently seen or watched.
3. Sometimes, I just start writing and let the energy flow. I usually have an idea of what is going to happen next but when I can't get there, I will just write. I have had many instances when the story has just unfolded from the characters. Remember that whatever you write, can always be changed and edited so it is not like anything going into the story is set in stone.
