Katrina Sisowath I've tried to avoid repeating the details of the religious practices and beliefs in The Doom of Undal as much as I can without leaving the reader completely in the dark, should he/she start with this book. If you like reading about philosophy/religion in detail, and you want to know about the leading Annunaki figures (Enki/Enlil/Ninkhursag/Eris), it is probably better to start with Serpent Priestess of the Annunaki.
Katrina Sisowath The Bible---my parents were devout Christians.I was also given a steady diet of the classics, which I loved, but they were strict with regards to what was acceptable reading material. The first book I chose to read that did not fulfill their criteria was River God by Wilbur Smith. I absolutely loved it.

You will learn so much from learning to spot common errors, discussing story structure, and exchanging writing tips that it will help when you sit down to write and edit your own manuscript
Katrina Sisowath I read a lot of non-fiction books, mainly to do with alternate history, ancient mythology and the occult. I also watch a lot of documentaries and am a fan of Ancient Aliens. I find all the inspiration I need from what I chose to read and watch
Katrina Sisowath Strength of will---which in this case replicates life. The historical figures I tend to admire most also had this trait
Katrina Sisowath The marketing--there's so much competition with really good authors and new books released every day that it's hard to attract attention from readers and reviewers
Katrina Sisowath Sometimes it is near instantaneous and others.......... like slogging through miles of cold, wet, thick mud
Katrina Sisowath My dream would be to never get bored with writing--to avoid waking up one day feeling that it had all been a waste of time. I would also like to build a platform based on my chosen topics and hopefully connect with others who share the same interests.
Katrina Sisowath Finding obscure facts or theories that provide the missing piece to your book's plot. Watching the characters come alive and develop personalities on the pages. Getting complimentary feedback from readers is nice as well
Katrina Sisowath The second book of the Dragon Court series, dealing once again with some of the characters in Serpent Priestess and introducing many new ones.
Katrina Sisowath I take a break for a while as I've learned it's usually my subconscious dissatisfied with either the story's progression or there is a mistake in a previous chapter that I have to rectify. Once I can identify the problem and rectify it, I've found it's easy to start writing again.
Katrina Sisowath Serpent Priestess of the Annunaki evolved as a concept after studying Sumerian mythology and the mystery of the Serpent Cult found worldwide. The protagonist is Ninkha (Ninkhursag) who, to the Sumerians, was given the task alongside her husband, Enki, of creating humans to work for the Annunaki. Rather than viewing them as Gods, I've tried to consider what it would have been like for beings that were more powerful and intelligent than us, yet still mortal.
