I don't have any plans to make one. There's nowhere else I can develop them, and no situations I can think of, that would take a full book to detail. At best, short stories and flash fiction with them involved is as much as I'll do, and one has already been made.

It's non-canon, as the page states, though I was planning on putting this into WT II. I only didn't because the mood was so different.

The best answer I can give is because Alex has mostly come around to sharing a kill with the family that caused his lycanthropy, and lead to someone's death, if by the first epilogue he's feeling down about them moving away, then he's formed a quality and worthwhile relationship with them.
Otherwise, I can't see any of his friends or family wanting to have anything to do with Shane and his family.

Aside from the non-canon short story I wrote that follows WTII, I don't have any plans for a WTIII. There's very little to draw from for an official story, and even before WTII was started, two books was as far as I wanted to go.

Yes. A duology was as far as I could reasonably see Alex and Shane's stories go, so that decision was made before I began WTII.

Practice your craft with something that requires thinking and writing, like a tabletop RPG, and from there, refine your style. Though I got started writing in high school, it wasn't until I got involved in tabletop RPGs, forum RPGs, and NaNoWriMo in college that my style came into focus.
Also, give what you write some close attention, in everything from story to characters to grammar, but don't get too attached to what you do write.

Often, I'll set the manuscript aside and do something else for a few minutes. Read, game, listen to music, what have you. I have heard others say the best thing to do is simply plow ahead in times like this, but that doesn't work for me.

Being able to create something that I don't see in the current market, or which I know appeals to a certain set of readers.

Usually, I'll start thinking about a piece of media, be it a book, video game, etc., that I've enjoyed in the past, and then ask myself "How would I present that?".

Werewolf Tale II. After that, I have a few ideas of what to write about next. It'll be in Classic Fantasy, Post-Apocalyptic, or Modern-Pulp/Urban Fantasy.
