Richard M. Frain I love Spotify. I use theatrical orchestra music in the background. I've listened to Audiomachine a lot. If I'm really stuck, I go for a walk and play out different scenarios in my mind. Lastly, coffee is so awesome!
Richard M. Frain I get to create a world that I enjoy while gaining deeper understanding of God's Word.
Richard M. Frain Don't doubt yourself. Pray to God for guidance, encouragement, and inspiration. Seek God's will.
Richard M. Frain I'm in the initial planning stages for the third book in the Haven Crest Chronicles series. I also have some ideas for a few short stories that I may launch for free on a website that I create.

I try to be consistent on my W.O.R.D. Bible study blog (https://be-a-man-of-god.blogspot.com/), but more recently that time is used preparing to teach Bible Study at my church.
Richard M. Frain Everyday life inspires me. You never know when an idea will strike you. So, I use Microsoft Notes on my phone to capture those ideas. I also found Notes useful to write. Any time inspiration hits me for the next part of the story, I'm always ready to jot a few sentences down on my phone.
Richard M. Frain Many people who develop New Year’s Resolutions may at some point put “Write a book” on the list. Well, it’s been on my list for several years. I never got very far until one night. I was surfing through channels and stumbled upon Harry Potter. Watching the films, I could tell why so many people were captivated by it. The characters had mysteries to solve, new things to learn and see that capture the imagination, a journey in a world different from our own, and a story arch over several books. However, I was struck by the focus on violence, death and hopelessness.

If I was going to spend time writing a book, I needed to spend time trying to reach the lost and encourage the believer. The next day, I began writing a book to “Reach and Teach” and “Riddle of Cornerstone” was born.

While writing Riddle, I developed the story idea for next step in the adventure. That idea became my latest book, "Melchizedek's Bounty."
