My advice would be to find a higher purpose in your writing.
By that I mean, writing is an art. If you only write for financial gain, the art you produce will likely be deficient in quality.
If you write to make people smile or simply enjoy a relaxing Sunday afternoon with a great story, then you are producing art for a higher purpose than material gain and will be more successful in your efforts.

Great question, thank you! I thought I might be getting such a question sooner or later.
Initially I had at least one more book planned for release in 2015. But as often is the case, 'life' happens and changes our best laid plans. For reasons I'll not bore you with, I didn't get the book out this year as I had hoped. Actually the re-publishing of my auction book was something I'd always wanted to do as well as a gap fill for my goals in 2015.
Now, I said all of that to get here and also answer your question. If all goes well there will be a release by March of 2016. It will be another historical fiction that is mixed with some interesting stuff. By mid 2016 I hope to release another sci-fi / dystopian story. And barring any unforeseen events to slow things down it will be followed by another release before years end.
Since I didn't hit my goals for 2015 I'm not going to set them too high for 2016. However, if things go real well there may be an additional short story or even novella released in there somewhere.
Thanks again,
Oliver

(view spoiler)["Tears of Abandon" a successful story name. This is the book that everyone can read continuously. To me it is a tragic and romantic type story. Drew has gone untimely, after that one by one except Beth. Why you take away Drew and Beth's dreams? (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[Thank you so much for that very good question.
The tragedy began for Drew and Beth when they entered Whisper. I didn’t wish to rip happiness from the two. Rather, there was simply no ‘good’ outcome for anyone that stumbled into Whisper. The nature of Whisper dictated a tragic ending.
Though Beth barely escaped Whisper, she had the strength to pick herself up and try to find a new beginning that would honor the memory of Drew. I think this is perhaps the small silver lining of the story and maybe a lesson for us all.

Hello Shelly
I really can't say much about that right now. I apologize, but it's just a difficult question to answer at this time. I can tell you that there are several stories lined up which have a connection to Diver Creed. Hopefully one of these will be released next year, if all goes well.
Thank you for the question and maybe I can update the answer at a later date. :)

Thank you Maitri. That is a good question. I've always felt that Serena is not an opening act, she's the headliner. I don't see another 'Tempest Soul' anytime soon. But it's not for certain there will never be another.
Now, I will say that we may see a story connected to Serena's at some point in the future. This is probably the more likely scenario.

Thank you for that great question Olga.
I've been asked that type of question before in interviews. My short answer would be that 'A Tempest Soul' has been the most organic novel I've written so far. Once the characters came into place and the framework established, the story almost wrote itself.
But, on a more personal level, A Tempest Soul is very dear to my heart. I believe Gina, and later Serena could be any one of us at one time or another. We all want to feel that we have value. For Gina, this thought was diminished by her mother leaving her at a young age. To make matters worse, when she was finally feeling independent and responsible, an innocent mistake throws her back to the floor.
So, I suppose to try and answer your question Olga. I decided Gina would be the kind of young woman that, once in this position, if she saw a slight thread of hope, she would get a death grip on that and pull herself out of the hole. And as this occurred in the story, everything else she wanted came to her.
The dance didn't solve all of her problems though. And it actually brought new ones to her. But in the end, Serena had the ability to overcome and to finally find peace in her heart. This I feel is something we all can hope and strive for. And it's something we can be happy Serena found, since the road she had to travel was much more difficult than many others.
