Rick Pryll I read. In fact, in the heat of the battle to get this book done, I found myself neglecting my reading. I had to recommit. I have said it in another answer, but my go-to when I am feeling the need for inspiration is Gertrude Stein. My TBR list is very long right now. I love it.
Rick Pryll Connecting with readers. I get texts, I get emails, I get pictures, I get DMs in Twitter and Instagram. Honestly, each one is a thrill.
Rick Pryll I write. When I am feeling particularly unmotivated, I write longhand. Reading helps too. My go-to for inspiration is Gertrude Stein. She makes me want to write.
Rick Pryll Hi Terry,

Thanks for your question. I lived in Prague for seven years, and while there are some similarities between myself and my main character, Joseph, the book is fiction.

I have heard from readers who lived in Prague in the late nineties that the book accurately reflects the feeling of that era. But to achieve that effect, I had to distance myself from my actual experience, and let the characters take over.

Rick Pryll Why, Part II of "The Chimera of Prague" of course. I have the first draft complete, but I also have a list of items to include and at least 8 vignettes that need to be finished.
Rick Pryll Keep on writing. Pick a project, focus on that, get it to 10,000 words, and then ask for help. But when all else fails, my motto is "Just keep writing."
Rick Pryll I lived in Prague for seven years. I wanted to write a book where the city was more than just a backdrop, where the city was basically a character.
