I think the best thing about being a writer is that you have so much power. You literally have the power to create, shape or destroy a whole world! Your readers (and even you too) are taken on a ride that can mean anything. Love, fear, laughter, sorrow - you feel it all whilst writing and what's even better is when you know you've made your readers feel it too.

I'm currently working on 'Bloodstained Betrayal' the sequel to 'No Secrets' in the 'Eternity Series'. This is the book where Letti and Kaizen's lives take a new turn. Letti is finally fully immersed into the immortal world and not liking what she's found. She's scared and unsure of how she can get out of it now. Meanwhile, we're introduced to a horde of new characters on the other side of the war. There's Bethany Ricen in Quondam, showing readers what life is like for the Angels. Then there's Phoebe Sole from the point of view of the Guardians who are badass humans fighting against the Vampire race! Then lastly there's Cyrus Romanov, vampire royalty and heir to The Empire, showing us what it's like behind the closed doors the the 'villains'.

Don't give up. There's so many ways to reach your goals and one person's path isn't necessarily the right one for you. Look up how other authors have achieved their goals and set yourself a plan. If you're going to self-publish, don't pay out loads for it like I did, it's not worth it and you'll end up at a loss. Amazon publishing is the best for self-publishers then it'll take a lot of hard work and dedication to become noticed after that but keep it up!

One of three ways. One: do a writing prompt for something completely off topic. Writing prompts can be found everywhere. Go on Pinterest - there's loads. Once you've wrote about something random, you'll find that your creative juices will be flowing!
Two: tear a scene apart. I go through the scene listing which characters need to be in it, where it could take place, what needs to happen and then fill in the gaps. Often you find that knowing who, what, where, when and why is harder than actually writing the scene.
Then lastly: I simply walk away. Don't force it, you'll only upset yourself. If it's not working, walk away and come back later.

For the most part, writing is simply a part of who I am. When I sit down to write, I already know what needs to be written. Yes, I get writer's block like everyone else but I know my stories inside and out - they flow through me. Inspiration is everywhere if you pay attention. In the shower; on the bus; from a passenger's conversation; just everywhere!
