Hi Ginny, I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying my Wings of Gold series. Those books are near and dear to my heart, since my husband served 30 years in the Navy as a helo pilot. Shane and Kitty definitely will have their own story at some point. I'm currently working on the next book in my Community Series (paranormal romance), then I will turn my attention back to Wings of Gold and see where my Muse takes me...! You can keep up on publication news via my monthly newsletter. Please join here: https://tracytappan.com/contact I make it a fun place to hang out. :o)

Hi Donetta, thanks for asking about The Community Series! Book 5, HALF-MOON RISING, which is Vasile Lazăr’s story, is slated for publication later in 2021. Keep an eye on my newsletter for an exact date, coming soon! Take care.

Hi Savannah,
I'm so glad to hear that you're enjoying The Community Series! Thanks for letting me know that. :o)
Hmm, about Toni's son...should I tell you, or leave you in suspense? Haha! Okay! Yes, I have a story bubbling around in my head that includes him, but that book won't come until about another 2-3 into the series.
Birthed from a biological mother who is a Royal Dragon, you can imagine how important he turns out to be... But I don't want to ruin the surprise!

Hi Justyna, Book 4 in The Community Series, MOON-RIDERS, is due out some time this year of 2016 (at least that's what I'm shooting for!). I'm committed to writing 3 books in Wings of Gold, my military romantic suspense series, before returning to my beloved Vârcolac. My military books are less dark than my paranormal novels, but still written with the same gritty realism that I'm known for. If you read in a multitude of romance genres, then you can give this series a try at no-risk, by checking out a two-in-one novella set I offer for free. You can download this set directly off my website: http://tracytappan.com/eightballtwoth...
If you don't read in different romance genres, then, ugh! So sorry for the wait for MOON-RIDERS! If you want to make sure you don't miss any of my launches (or contests or giveaways), you can sign up for my author updates, if you haven't already: http://bit.ly/TyJdpi
Hang in there, though--MOON-RIDERS IS coming!!

Hi Justyna,
So glad to hear you're enjoying The Community Series! I am a multi-genre romance author, and so have recently turned to releasing my military romantic suspense series, Wings of Gold. This has pushed back the publication schedule for my paranormal romance series. The 4th book in The Community Series, MOON-RIDERS, is due out in 2016 (I'm not sure exactly when, yet). If you enjoy other romance genres, then you can pick up BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY, launching Sept. 25th, and still be guaranteed the gritty realism you've come to enjoy in my other books. Otherwise, hang tight...MOON-RIDERS is coming!

Hi Nicole, Sorry for the confusion! So glad you asked. Yes, anyone with Dragon bloodlines has a dragon tattoo on his or her back. For a Mixed-blood Varcolac (which is a mix of Varcolac genes and Dragon genes), the dragon tattoo is in its full form: colorful and made of living scales. A Dragon human only has a small piece of this tattoo (usually a foot or a slice of wing or the tip of a nose) and it will be brown in color--like a birthmark. IF the Dragon person has the ability to perform enchantments, then they are ALSO Fey. And so far in the series, I have it that only Royal Fey can have enchantment abilities--so Fey is pretty much Royal Fey. And, yes, you can't be Fey without owning the Dragon gene.
So when you say Alex and Toni are Royal Fey, that would be interchangeable with saying they are Royal Fey Dragons.
Enchantment abilities are suppressed until the person with the Royal Fey gene is bitten by a Varcolac and gets loaded up with the Fiinta elixir. This brings out their enchantment skill, as it did with Alex (Soothsayer), Pandra (Fifth Element), and Toni (power like her father's)...Faith and Kacie Teague are also Royals with enchantment skills, but I haven't gotten to that yet in the series.
When a Royal obtains his or her Fey enchantment through Fiinta, the brown dragon pieces on his or her back also transform into a full, colorful, scaly dragon. The colors of the Royal Fey Dragon are blue and red (plus there is a symbol that is an enchantment designator). The colors of the regular, everyday dragon are green and red (ONLY seen on a Mixed-blood Varcolac).
Was this too much information, haha? I hope that helped, but ask again if you need more clarification.
So glad you're loving the series. :o)

Hi Abbie,
Absolutely! Book 4 is called MOON-RIDERS and is Breen's story. But like the other Community Series books, other characters will be further developed and followed, like Detective John Waterson and Videon. You can go to my website to read a blurb, and also I suggest you sign up for my Author Updates, so I can let you know what the publication date is on that--when I know it, that is! http://tracytappan.com/contact.html#n...

Thank you for your enthusiasm, Zury! Haha, I love hearing that! I think that as I get deeper into my own world, I am writing better books, but that was nice of you to comment on it. I'm sorry that I don't have a publication date set for book #4 for, yet, but I can keep you informed on that through my Author Updates, if you'd like to sign up. http://tracytappan.com/contact.html#n...
Soon, I hope, soon...!

Hi Heidi, Thanks for asking! The Community Series will be available in other vendors in early April. If you don't feel like waiting, another option is to download the FREE Kindle app, which would allow you to read the books on your phone, computer, or tablet. Sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused you, and I appreciate your patience!

Hopefully by this summer...if there are no complications, haha!

Hi Shirley,
Alex has a side story in Book 2 of the series, THE PUREST OF THE BREED, where he gets caught in a heartbreaking love triangle. Such a sweet guy, too...
