When Andrea was finished chatting and having breakfast with her quiet family, she wiped her mouth meticulously with a napkin and laid it back down on the table. Carefully, she stood and stepped over the dead bodies of her mother, father and brothers before walking out of the kitchen door, locking it behind her.

I would like to go to so many places. But, the biggest must would be Diagon Alley in Harry Potter. I want to go to The Leaky Cauldron and get all sauced up on the butter beer. Then, I want to go drunk shopping and witching around on the cobblestone alley. And, I want to take the Hogwarts Express back to school and go to my huge 4-poster bed with a red, satiny canopy and sleep for 2 days while no kids disturb me.
Basically, I want to go there and act like a child but while not actually being around any children. (I love my boys, I swear!!)

Well, since it is not even Spring, I am not sure about my Summer list. But, I can tell you that I always have an endless amount of to-read books sitting around on my virtual and actual shelves. My favorite books are psychological thrillers and suspense so I can almost guarantee that it will be something in that genre. Right now, I'm getting pretty excited about The Silent Patient and The Family Upstairs.

I am working on a young adult fantasy fiction about a Native American girl, from Oklahoma, who is just trying to follow in her father's foot steps after he passes away.
In order to do so, she'd have to become the first female chief of her tribe and it will be no easy task. Aside from the political leaps and bounds she must take, she and the rest of the village must also ready themselves for the dark days ahead. As the wolves move in on them, they will need more than a vote to determine who is the rightful heir to the throne of power.
This book is something I'm extremely excited about as Dakota River, the main character, has many parts of my heritage within her. She is a powerful, strong young woman and I can't wait for you to all see what she does in the future.

The truth is that sometimes I am not inspired to write. But, the things I've found most helpful are: motivational Pinterest quotes, Amy Harmon words of wisdom on Instagram, and last but not least....sitting my butt down and forcing myself to write.
You can't finish if you don't start and stay consistent. That is the one thing I keep reminding myself of as I am trying to finish my first ever full-length novel at the moment.

I have always had the world's weirdest dreams. This is a title I've bestowed upon myself. And, in this instance, it happens to be kind of related to the work.
This series of books started with a very sketchy nightmare. When I woke up, the morning after, I sat in the bedroom writing like a maniac while my husband cared for our young boys.
I, of course, did not dream it all up. It was mostly just portions of the tale that immediately started rolling out into story format and became shockingly more twisted as it went along. Then, as you all can see, it turned into a total of four super creepy books.
