Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Alicia Walker I have always had the world's weirdest dreams. This is a title I've bestowed upon myself. And, in this instance, it happens to be kind of related to the work.

This series of books started with a very sketchy nightmare. When I woke up, the morning after, I sat in the bedroom writing like a maniac while my husband cared for our young boys.

I, of course, did not dream it all up. It was mostly just portions of the tale that immediately started rolling out into story format and became shockingly more twisted as it went along. Then, as you all can see, it turned into a total of four super creepy books.
