Well I don't know how this slipped past me - I'm sorry it took so long to reply.
I can't plot a story out. Once I try to do that I run into a wall larger than even my imagination can handle.
I tend to say that I'm not so much writing the story, as I am recording it. The images and dialogue come to me and I put it into words on the page. I don't even do this in order - the tale is written, bit by bit, all over the arc of the book and slowly gets stitched together until I have a finished product.

I had written a short story with the character and then he wouldn't go away. Mix that with listening to 80's music and I ended up with a novel - go figure.

I walk away and do something else. I have never been able to write if my Muse isn't whispering in my ear, so I don't push it.

Currently I am writing the fifth, yet to be named, novel in the White Dragon Black series, while editing the second WDB novel 'Bindings& Spines'.
