Well, this question could certainly have many answers! I would love to travel to travel to the town I used in my book Candi Kane Kisses and meet the family that Holly stayed with for her first ever Christmas away from her family. It is a magical place and the characters were amazing. I would spend Christmas with the Carson family in their log cabin and enjoy this special, magical time with them.

Hmm, that is a good one. I have a couple of mystery's that would work but never thought of actually putting them in one of my books. That might be something I should look in to. Thank you for the question!

At the moment I have to say my favorite fictional couple is Preston River and Holly Kane from my book Candi Kane Kisses. Holly is a widow who's adult children decide not to come home for Christmas. She decides to put herself first for once. She gives herself a vacation at log cabin on a working cattle ranch. She meets Preston, a real life cowboy who happens to be much younger than her. I love their attraction and the way Preston is so in tune to their feelings and so mature for someone his age.

I may look at a picture that suddenly stirs a story to life, Yesterday's Memories started from a picture I found of my father standing in front of his fireplace mantel, arm on the mantel near an old clock. Other times I don't know where the characters come from, with Broken Lies I was on the back of the Harley as we were riding back to Florida from Maryland and suddenly Niall was in my head telling me his story. I had to makes notes in my iPhone at every gas stop!

Join other authors writing groups, become friends with these wonderful people who will share their experiences and encourage each other. This has been so helpful for me.

I work on more than one book at a time. If I get stuck with my characters I put the book aside and move to another one where the characters are talking to me.

When someone tells me they have read my book and they are excited about the characters and the story. When they talk to me about the characters as if they are real people!

The book I am working on now was inspired by an online class I joined about writing romance books. I have never written a romance novel and the group of writers were so inspirational. I can't wait to get this one finished, it is entirely different from my first two books
